New Seibertron Galleries: Animated Sons of Cybertron Exlusives

Another set of 'must see' galleries here at Seibertron.com, the quite HOT, and quite exclusive, not to mention quite clear TakaraTomy Sons of Cybertron Animated Set.

This set was one of the first releases in the TakaraTomy 2010 Campaign, being preceded by the Masterpiece Sleep Convoy.

Now why is this set so HOT? Well, if the clear plastic doesn't get you, maybe this will... Animated Hot Rod. Sure no big deal now right? The TRU exclusive (Animated Rodimus Minor) is starting to show up in many stores. This exclusive set happened to be the first release of Animated Hot Rod/Rodimus/Rodimus Minor, so it fell into a lot of collector's hands and on their want lists just for that reason. Oh and there's an Animated Optimus Prime figure in colored-clear plastic in the set as well.

Extensive Look at Takara Animated Rodimus

It can't be denied, 2010 is shaping up to be the year of the Rodimus. With countless releases, mainly from Takara, we get another look at their version of Animated Rodimus. If Diem's photos left your mouth watering, the gallery from our friend Alfes 2010 will finish off the job. Comparing to Hasbro's version of Rodimus Minor, which you can see in the Seibertron.com galleries, Takara gives Rodimus a metallic magenta feel. Check him out below!

New Galleries: Transformers Animated EZ Collection Wave 4

Four new Transformers Animated galleries were added to the Seibertron.com toy galleries. We have now surpassed 104 individual galleries for Transformers Animated. The first four after the century mark are from Takara-Tomy's Transformes Animated EZ Collection Wave 4. Wave 4 consists of Gold Optimus Prime, Elite Guard Optimus Prime, Elite Guard Bumblebee and Elite Guard Prowl.

Have you always wanted a lucky draw figure, but have never been lucky enough to win one? Well, you're in luck with Gold Optimus Prime. He may not be a lucky draw figure, but he is nice, shiny and gold. He is the first of two Optimus Prime figures in this wave.

Elite Guard Optimus Prime is the legends version of the Voyager Elite Guard Optimus Prime. They share a very similar paint scheme. The EZ Collection is more a widely available and less expensive incarnation of this figure.

Elite Guard Bumblebee is also a smaller version of another figure. This time being the EZ collection version of Deluxe Elite Guard Bumblebee. He sports a very similar paint scheme, although the gold is only found in the stripe across the body of his alt mode.

Last but not least is Elite Guard Prowl. We featured a gallery of the deluxe version of this figure earlier in the week. Again, the EZ collection figure is very similar in it's paint scheme. This version of the figure also offers a cheaper alternative to the larger figure.

Transformers Animated Optimus Prime Gold Version Lucky Draw Prize

Following up on a previous report. KP Toys have posted images of a Transformers Animatd "GOLD OPTIMUS PRIME" Takara Lucky Draw DVD Mail Away Prize. According to the post there was to be 1000 of these, but they were told from a reliable source that only 300 have been sent out. There will be no more. Take that as a rumor as traditionally there are usually more than they tell us there are.

Another Wingblade Prime Gallery

Jinxm of HK-TF has posted a rather extensive gallery of the TakaraTomy release of Wingblade Optimus Prime from Transformers Animated! The Japanese version of Wingblade Optimus Prime uses the voyager figure(a translucent version at that!) as the base, in lieu of the deluxe to be used on the forthcoming US Wingblade Optimus Prime.
