The Transformers Collector's Club newsletter arrives with a pre-order slip, revealing the following new figures for Transformers: Animated:

Deluxe: Ratchet, Freeway Jazz.

Voyager: Blackout and Wingblade Optimus Prime.

A new Transformers Animated commercial has begun to air to promote the Jetfire & Jetstorm two pack. There is no new footage of the cartoon on display in the commercial, however.

Along with our recent Bumblebee card-back image we have also gotten a look at what appears to be a Transformers Animated Ironhide toy. When matching up the toy to the character model sheet it appears to be a match. Click on the thumbnail to see both the toy image and the character model sheet.

Many are believing this to be an Activators toy due to the simplistic nature of the mold.

Official High-Resolution Images of Animated Activators 2009 Wave 2 Soundwave and Fireblast Grimlock

TFW2005 has received official, high resolution images in and out of packaging for Animated Activators Soundwave and Fireblast Grimlock. Both figures will be introduced as part of the Animated Activators 2009 Wave 2 Assortment.

First Image of Colored Animated Cybertron Mode Ratchet

Hasbro Booth Photos of Upcoming Animated Toys

Hasbro staff told TFW2005 that they would be filling the cases in their booth with upcoming Animated toys and we were waiting at the ready.

The usual cheapo plastic complaint aside, Hot Rod (I'm assuming Hot Rod cos of alt mode) looks great. Face is too Rodimusy though, very grumpy. Would have been nice to have the weapon missiles in clear plastic.

Arcee is not bad, but she's a little less feminine than I expected. Small bust and bulky lower legs (although the latter can pretend it's like, boot-cut jeans or what :p). I think the swords suck though, they should have given her twin pistols instead. Arcee =/= melee fighter mah.

I'd consider buying Hot Rod, Arcee and Blurr ... then wait for a Springer so I can put him in a corner while Hot Rod and Arcee hold hands

New Images Of Animated Rodimus Minor And Oil Slick Repaint

2005 boards members Tommybg2003 and Lance Halberd have posted images of new Transformers Animated toys. Shown in this new set of images are Rodimus Minor, and a previously unseen Oil Slick repaint.

Hasbro intends to release Rodimus and other figures shown at Botcon, someway, somehow, this year.

New Transformers Animated Bulkhead Repaint

Rejoice, Transformers Animated fans, the line still has at least one more surprise left in it! Courtesy of KOToys.com, we have our first look at a previously unknown Voyager class Bulkhead repaint. This version of Bulkhead sports a richer, more metallic green, supplemented with black and gold paint applications.

Transformers Animated Freeway Jazz and Revenge of the Fallen Scout Recolor Images

TFCToys has listed a selection of new eBay auctions. First up is Transformers Animated Freeway Jazz, who is due out this December with Electrostatic Soundwave as a part of Animated Deluxe Wave 7. Next are three Scout class toys from Transformers Revenge of the Fallen. There are previously unseen recolors of Roll Bar and Depthcharge, along with the new mold Brakedown. Roll Bar's recolor is only shown in vehicle mode, and has been reimagined as a courier's truck! Depthcharge on the other hand is rendered primarily in black in vehicle mode, with some blue on his robot mode parts. He also sports a Decepticon symbol, indicating this is intended to be an "evil Decepticon black repaint". Last but by no means least is Brakedown, a new mold based on the Generation 1 Stunticon Breakdown. It is likely that these three Scouts together will make up the fifth wave of Revenge of the Fallen Scout class toys.
