Btw, I just got a copy of this, yesterday still got a few, today last copy liao :shock:

I have not read, just browse through, but can give a short review.

Artwork - China style, not usual HK or Jap that we see, but very detail work in every box. I give A+!!

Every few pages there is "something", but not that kind of ra style, its more of art and story. This author himself seems more like an artist than a comics writer. He is from Shanghai, but impressive track record...even held a position in someplace like an art association in SG before :thumbsup:

Story - In fact, really like what Justin say, abit literature, some words are quite chim, but majority is 旁白.

Packaging - For this price, I would say the its even better than Dragonball complete version. Hard cover, and the pages are put together using those sewing type (Fire should know the technical term). Even the paper quality of the inside cover is like those books you find in popular.

Overall, its a good work, those who see it should grab :drum:

Wah i bought yesterday, the art really details and solid. There is no sex scene la, only a few naked pose here and there. Wording wise damn detail. Confirmed classic of classic for comics collectors!

Think sld recommended to schools as chinese literature :| We must step of the box!

Yah lor, thats why the there is no climax in book1 ending like other comics. Its meant to be continuous, just like Lord of the Rings 1-3.

Browse through the book at Tiandi yesterday. Think most ppl won't be able to accept the art. Look like those ancient chinese painting type... but fits the book ya..

i think this artists style fit in quiet well with the story..if ping fan / chen shu fen drawing..then it will turn into another version of jin ping mei liao...the m ore romantic one.....and full of chio bu and yen dao kia :D

You won't be able to find it in many places, especially the bigger shops.

It is usually the smaller comic shops that bring in rare titles. Some of us brought it from M&A at Bedok South. :)
