Yo everybody!
Recently there have been some discussions regarding whether to have a seperate cars forum or to just leave it in the Cafe. Although the automotive forum is activated, putting all the threads in there may look wierd also since it is suppose to be for models and those are real things, and our starscream and Skyw4lker have been so active posting them, 多谢支持 :salute:
As the forum grows, of course we may get request from members who have some hobbies ( 冷门， 热门， 甚至特别的 ) which they want to share with others and I think we shouldn't turn members away since we are a Hobby forum by nature. Meow have said before that some guys take cars as their toys and play with them right?
I am trying out something now.
A new category have been started called Hobbyhype Hall (like a City Hall where every country also have) and it is suppose to be a Hall of Experts for dedicated hobbies, as name suggest, must have experts to lead. However, as we are primarily a Comics/Toys/Gaming/Anime forum, these will still be our concentration, and the Hall is a gathering point for other hobbies that does not fall within these 4, and really, it would be great to see some really special ones coming along. :rock:

However, to squeeze a place in the Hall wont be so easy like just making a request :laugh: at least there should be active discussions that have been going on in the Cafe to justify its existence and that it is not something most people object to (eg. having explicit things as hobby of course cannot lah), so that a new forum wont be just set up and there is only 1 member posting. Hope that we don't get request for soccer forum now, because it will be so hot that it will take over the others :laugh:
We / I are open to suggestions, so anybody is free to object or support this idea, since it is a try out that just comes along and I havent inform other admins and mods about it. Please feedback :read:
