but did you guys catch an episode of "guess guess guess" where a pair of female 16 yr old singaporean twins appeared on a "twins-theme" special and did a dance performance?

just found out that Ocean Butterfly signed them up and are starting promotions for them. Their dance performance was really good in that episode and way above the normal "singapore dance talent" standard.

if they had signed up for this year's Superband, they would definitely be the highlight of the show for me

you can view some of their performance and appearance online at youtube. let me knw if any of you guys think they dance pretty well too. atm, not judging on their looks and singing ability.

This is the episode im talking abt:

this is from another program where they had a chance to showcase their singing talent, and later did the same dance routine.

i haven been so impressed by a new local talent since i saw Lin Jun Jie performing live at Hwa Chong before he got famous so i'll definitely be interested to see if this duo get their lucky break and become a top act in the years to come.

yeah jacky wu couldnt understand their lingo when they were talking and asked a guest to translate for him  . They dance well, look good ( not spectacular), sing well( when doing covers, their latest album doesnt rate well with me, lol) and the twin effect gimmick might actually do well. I rem there were two twin malemale duos that were performing in Taiwan and did pretty good. Cant recall any girlgirl duo pior to this pair though.

I think the true twins thingy is a fade which may wear out in time as the music market is out for look + talents, not for the "carbon copy" factor.

watched e ep last sat !

for 16 yr old, few can dance or sing like them and not many might ve their looks.

aside for Sun Yanzi, Tanya, JJ, none have really make the mark, not to mention local project superstars output, are flops. esp tt chen si wei - Super Flop !

if u compare our project superstars competition as to taiwan xin guang bang, they are nowhere near. look at yang zongwei and e lin youjia - they r what u called superstars !

i do hope BY2 make a name for themselves. it will also be an experience for them. not many pple (esp in spore) get tt kinda chance.
e showbiz not an easy route.

another xiao song or xiao bo in e making ? this twins were famous for their dancing moves in the 80s.

It seems to be the case that our local talents have to be spotted by first appearing in foreign media shows. Not to say we have limited opportunities here with quite a few talent scouting variety shows in the past few years.
