Heard that its war out there, read from another forum about most of the ppl's behaviour there, really disgusting leh....I think the staff working there must b laughing their socks off see adults scrambling for toys.....

But i do admit some of the prices is really tempting (eg GF Supreme Starscream, 20th Anni OP, Alternators)

Oh ya, and thanks to kiradude and jankdev for braving the storm and helping me pick up one Alternator....

Well, I didn't have the time to go down early on the first day, which was the biggest factor in my decision not to bother at all.

Coming in a close second was my expectation of exactly the kind of scene that happened this time around. I used to go for the Sheng Tai warehouse sales, and have seen enough of this kind of action to last me a lifetime. And I figured it would probably be even worse for a big-time brand like TFs.

Now, I don't want to be a sanctimonious, holier-than-thou prick in tsk-tsking the scene. I have a suspicion that some people taking the moral high ground, are hypocrites or engaging in sour-grapishness.

So, good for anyone who got what they wanted, and I hope you kept your dignity intact while doing so. Suffice to say that this time around, I made a personal and considered decision not to engage in the inevitable Rugby World Cup 2008 because I felt that doing so would not be worth the cost to my mental health and sanity.

I'll try as far as possible not to support the scalpers, though. Free market economics or not, doing so would leave a sour taste in my mouth that even possession of the toy in question would do nothing to wash away.

Ya man, i heard one lady fell down while being pushed by another.
I myself got elbowed. it was silly to see all the snatching, but then some of the snatchers offered to clear the Tfs they snatched back to other collectors because there's basically no time to see which one you wan once the box is opened. Just grab whatever you see

One time experience is good enough for me though i haven't got the Supreme Starscream i wanted the most.
