View Full Version : We Need A Display Window for this Forum

Hi MAster of this forum,

We need a Display Window to showcase our collections. Maybe do it for free members and charged for displaying for those non-members. We want to promote this to showcase our hobbies and some want to sell they can showcase for sales. We might need a page for it. :prayer:

hmmmm....i dunno whether this is a must to have or not....currently we hv all the "fleamart" in different categories....can post pictures up there...if we hv this display window......tat means we need to take away those fleamart thread?? :hh3:

Yo sky, you referring to something like a gallery? :D

in the previous forum we do have one, got showcase lonewolf collection sommore. Now if we want to have a gallery it will cost $$, so target year end when more members join, than we will put it for everyone to share :hello:

I mean a web gallery not a real gallery. I guess we collectors do take our own pic nicely and can post it here in the Forum gallery. L-)

good idea. But make sure always update with more pics with collections regulary. Else the thread dies down after sometimes also no use :)

It should not be a thread, it should be a column say on left/right of the main menu, so everyone can see and click to view more. =D>

Actually i will worry if it will "eat" the upload speed of members accessing the forum if they are dial-up users...
I think a gallery works just fine already, and actually its just a addition bonus only. We can easily use those free online photo albums also. :)

yes, it is the same as what we have previously, just an online gallery to upload images. It cost $$ to implement it now since free ones may not integrate well into the forum, so we will need to wait slightly longer to justify the cost, not cheap leh :hh2:

i think our current forum software dont hv this feature rite EC? maybe we can sign up to an account as hobbyhype on those online gallery web and link to this forum? will this be an alternative? :D

Right, this is the one which we dont have now but its planned when we have more members coming in, than can allocate each of them some space for gallery purposes. I already have the target in mind, can integrate well here :)
