Edit: Optimus's and Megatron's should have "1" instead of "l" in front. eg. Input "18p3" instead of "l8p3" for Optimus's code to work.

Go enter the codes! You'll get some very interesting notes and pics of each character. For those too lazy...
(note: some story spoilers mentioned)

SCATTERSHOT
Although an active and important part of Optimus Prime's team of Autobots, Scattershot really loves to play Cybertronian video games! He used to be a video game programmer back when he was younger on Cybertron. His nervousness may work against him sometimes in battle, but that high-strung nature keeps his mind sharp and Scattershot uses his knowledge of strategy games to help Optimus make their plans against the Decepticons.
Haha! A Cybertronian Gamer! How apt and cool of Backpack/Scattorshot.

OVERHAUL
In the original design stage for TF: Cybertron, Overhaul was going to be called "Trailbreaker", a popular name from the 1980's. This was to match up with his later upgrade to "Leobreaker" -- a lion on the Jungle Planet. His name was changed to Overhaul, but the Lion's name stayed the same! A lion would sound kinda funny with the name "Leohaul", right?
This is interesting, explaining name origin of Leobreaker/Ligerjack, homage to Trailbreaker!

RANSACK
Ransack is one half of the dastardly duo of Ransack and Crumplezone. What most citizens of the Speed Planet don't know about Ransack is that he secretly has a crush on Speed Planet leader Override! He's tried to ask her out at least five hundred times, but every time he gets the nerve up to ask her, he blows a gasket!
"...blows a gasket!" Haha! I bet this was on purpose in reference to his japanese name! And...a crush on Nitro!? Ew...

CLOCKER
Clocker has a racetrack tactic that he's been secretly practicing. While driving at top speed, he hits the Energon-overdrive button while going into sixth gear. This maneuver usually sends Clocker flying into turns at ridiculous speeds! The only bad thing is that Clocker has yet to master this maneuver perfectly, so not only does he fly into first place, but also he usually flies right off the road!!
So, little Skidz is more than meets the eye!

HARDTOP
Hardtop is a Cybertronian Comic Book collector! If you were to go into his room in the Decepticon home base, you'd find thousands of comic books from all over the galaxy!! From 3-D ones to ones made of leaves - he just loves them! If he's not blasting Autobots on the battlefield, he's racing around the universe looking for the missing issue of the Galactic Guardians.
First a gamer, now a comic book collector? Man, Cybertronians sure have interesting hobbies!

HOTSHOT
Talk about FAST! Until he went to Speed Planet, Hot Shot was the fastest car on Cybertron. He was so fast that if he revved his engine and gunned it, he could drive up the side of a building practically defying gravity!
Wow, and back in Armada, he needed to powerlink with Jolt before he could do that!

THUNDERCRACKER
Thundercracker is a goofball, and a practical joker. One time, he thought it would be funny to throw a surprise birthday party for Megatron. Little did he know that Optimus prime in a battle had just beaten Megatron... Megatron got back to the base and Thundercracker came out yelling "SURPRISE!!!?" Megatron was not amused. Thundercracker ended up spending the next 5 hours cleaning the Energon-Goodie-Cake out of his joints...
Okaaay, this info tidbit comes across somewhere between interesting and lame, but at least it kinda matches his character shown in GF.

LANDMINE
Landmine is one of the oldest members of the Autobot team. But that doesn't mean this guy can't hold his own when it's time to rumble... In fact - he was the Autobot who first taught Optimus Prime how to fight!!
Older than Optimus? His profile sounds more like Armada Scavenger.

CRUMPLEZONE
Crumplezone is a massive Transformer. He loves to blast things, loves to crush things and LOVES to race as fast as he can all day long and all night long. But what he really loves is hanging out and causing all sorts of trouble with his best buddy Ransack! From putting grease on Overrides wheels, to Giving Clocker an atomic Speed Planet wedgie, Crumplezone is a punk that LOVES to cause trouble wherever he goes!
This description actually make him sound a little more intelligent that how he acts in GF.

VECTOR PRIME
Vector Prime is a Transformer from the earliest days of Cybertron's history. There is a legend of 13 original Transformers, built by Primus before he took the shape of the Planet Cybertron. It has been rumored that Vector Prime is actually one these original 13!
Okay, this redefines Vector's coolness. It began as a fan speculation, and now it's officiated that he might have been one of the original 13! (A mytho created by Dreamwave.)

JETFIRE
Before the beginning of the Cybertron saga and the end of the Energon story, Jetfire decided that he wanted to take some time to rest and recuperate after the final battle with Unicron. He traveled to the far-off planet of Nebulon where he lived among the natives for some time. That explains why he's come back to the Autobots with an accent.
Alriiight, this has gotta be the best way to explain a change of voice actor. But a few notes, this (re)confirms Hasbro's intention to let Cybertron continue from Energon, and the interesting reference to Nebulon (where the G1 Headmasters/Targetmasters came from in Rebirth).

SCOURGE
In Japan, all the planet leaders have a similar name. The Japanese leader Transformers all have the same “last name” and that name is “Convoy”. So, Optimus prime in Japan is called Galaxy Convoy! Pretty cool, right? Well, Scourge, since he’s a dragon is named Flame Convoy.
Acknowledgement to Galaxy Force! Wished they referred to "Convoy" as a "title" instead of "last name" though.

OPTIMUS PRIME
In the history of the Transformers brand in the United States, there have been over 25 different versions of Optimus Prime! If you add in the various versions of Optimus Primal - there have been close to 40 different versions of the classic red, blue and silver hero!!!
Has there? I'm too lazy to go verify.

MEGATRON
There is nothing Megatron loves more than power. First, he was after the Mini-Cons, then he was after all of the Energon in the world and now he's after the Cyber Planet Keys so he can rule the universe! In between all of those conquests, he found time to lead the Decepticons, battle the Autobots, get trapped inside Unicron, get a few new bodies AND eventually wear PARTS of Unicron as his armor!!! Talk about needing a vacation!!!
Again confirming the continuation, as well as the mention of usage of Unicron parts for armor.

DIRTBOSS
As one of the citizens of Speed Planet, Dirt Boss is known for two things, and two things only - one is being the meanest, rudest and crankiest driver on the road and the other is that he LOVES to drive, drive and oh yeah, drive some more! It's hard to believe, but like most folks on Speed Planet, Dirt Boss LOVES to stay in vehicle mode! Why walk when you can drive - but watch out! If you cross Dirt Boss on the road, watch your tail lights!!!
Doesn't sound quite like the Speedian Inch-up I know from GF, sounding more like a real Decepticon.

Edit: Starscream's code doesn't seem to work yet.
