Wow... This is great. But ever since Koto took up Zoids as well, the original Zoids has never been the same to me anymore. :)

Actually I think the Kotobukiya kits fill a much-needed niche in the Zoids universe - that of a high-detail, poseable kit that can only be achieved at the loss of motorisation.

The real Zoid-killers have been the side lines pushed out by (Tak)Tomy itself - Blox, Neo Blox, Cyber-drive Zoids etc.

LL. Worldwide also no feeling already. I guess it's a factor of the TakTomy merger + general slowdown in interest ba. Now the main Zoids lines all on hold, then just feed the collectors' market with some limited/small release stuff. And please TakTomy, dun waste time on the stupid blox anymore hor.

I personally hope that Kotobukiya can choot more HMM kits. Genobreaker shouldn't be too far away since oredi got Genosaurer.

Ya ya ya ... I'm waiting for GenoBreaker too. It'll be even better if they release Jet as limited edition like HMM red command wolf.

Looks like this discussion is moving towards the HMM kits, in the absence of more Gungyalados news (however, on a related note I have spoken to TFH and been informed they'll be trying to secure future Zoids book reissues - watch out for their preorder emails *rock*).

I don't know if releasing a Jet will be a good move for Kotobukiya. I somehow doubt demand for the HMM kits is high (as compared to say Gundam stuff), and the pricey nature of a regular Genobreaker may not allow the market to absorb what is essentially nothing more than a recolour (which one could do with a regular Genobreaker kit on one's own). Kotobukiya would have to incur extra artwork costs at the very least, and it may not be particularly economically viable to do a Jet.

So far, the 2nd versions of all the HMM kits have come with something extra to entice consumers - re Irvine's CW, Shield Liger MK II. The inevitable Genobreaker will also have a new backpack and claws from the Genosaurer. I think Kotobukiya would be wise to keep to this pattern!

[add] If anything, I am worried that they will make the Genobreaker a limited version of the Genosaurer! That would kinda suck. I still haven't bought the Empire CW - the only one I ever saw for sale was like $60, which I'm not willing to pay.
