I just got an SMS from these guys today

Boston Pizza … Wikipedia says they’re a Canadian pizza chain, contrary to what their name suggests (on a side note, I’m not sure that Canadian 2 for 1 Pizza is even Canadian in origin).

Their prices for 2 pizzas are comparable to Canadian 2 for 1's … depending on the pizzas ordered, the difference could be a few dollars up or down. Seems to be a delivery-only chain.

Anyone tried them before?

I haven't tried the Boston Pizza yet.

But I did try the Canadian 2-for-1 pizza quite some time back. (So the situation might have changed). I remembered calling them to place orders and I did asked for the prices of the pizzas of various sizes that I was keen. And I did ask if it is the same for a single pizza. (Kinda silly, I know. But sometimes, you can't eat somuch and you don't want to waste food.) Interestingly, the prices for the 2-for-1 pizza turned out more expensive than just 1 pizza. So the 2-for-1 deal is not truly 2 pizzas for the price of 1 pizza.

Well, a bit fishy for me and I ordered from Oishi pizza at the end for their quirky flavours.

On the sidenote, I don't think they are Canadian in origin.

I didn't even know you could order a single pizza from Canadian 2 for 1 ... lemme check ...

OK I just called em, and was directed to the Bukit Panjang outlet - the lady told me that a single pizza would cost 70% of the regular price - so looks like either they made a mistake when you spoke to them, or their policy has changed. I'm inclined to think mistake because then everyone would just order the pizzas individually!

No updates la ... pizza in SG expensive ... can't bring myself to try. Some more Pizza Hut I heard is got $22 for 2 pizzas deal now (altho I dunno what size). I know, I know, Pizza Hut sucks ... but ... cheapish lah ...

Canadian is 2 for $23.90 with delivery as well, not too bad... Tried at Nelson's place that time....Same size as the Pizza Hut one i think...10" pizza....

By golly you're right - the 2 x 10" at Canadian is only $24 - so the stupid Pizza Hut 2 x 10" at $22 not very attractive at all. I thot the PH deal was for a larger size - should have known better -__-

This is not boston pizza, how ah? Should start a new thread or not. I went with a friend to this pizza shop next to subway at central. They sell pizza by the slices and 8.90 for a pasta + 1 fresh fruit juice. We thought it was quite nice and the price was OK. End up paying $20 for a slice of pizza, 2 pastas, 2 fruit juices and a soup. The mushroom soup was nice too. Had diced mushrooms in it.
