Think it takes time for the eyes of the new Kamen Rider to grow on me...:thinking: Think they called it Kamen Rider Vlad or something...

Yeah...according to the rumours that have been going around, the new Rider is based on supernatural monsters, like a vampire, werewolf etc.

Not unlike Den-O, from what I have read...monsters possessing/working with the main Rider.

Yup...best to feature serious deaths like in Agito, and an enlightening story like in Hibiki (though I dun want the series to be like a mess behind the scenes of Hibiki)...

And you gotta add a bit of Faiz in it as well! :evil:

Agree with you. But Den-O, indeed Ryoutarou is wimpy, but I like it after a while because the writer(s) for Den-O has/have allowed the character of Ryoutarou to grow stronger (his will, determination, mental state...but not so much in physique). :thumbsup:

And once again, our new Kiva-san most likely will not have a decent henshin pose again.

I consider Kabuto's Zecter and also the Auto Vajin as being alive, being able to react and think on its on. So I just assume Kiba's buckle is of the same caliber. :D

To me all zecters, autovajin and side bassha are 'alive' and i am ok with it. actually like this got more interaction :D . But the flat face bat looks more sentai than kamen siah. Praying hard it dont go around acting cute. Actually when first den-o pics are out, i also quite sad about it but now quite stuck to it :laugh: . Hope the writers can do their magic and once again capture me :red:

I've always thought of the Zectors, and the AutoVaijin, to be to machines installed with AI, since I believe AutoVaijin would retaliate when Faiz hits it (for shooting him by mistake) if he's alive. :D

Well, I think it'll be rather hard for Coumorin (or Kibat) to have a fanbase of his own that's as strong as the Imagins quartet. Well, perhaps he should be able to appeal to the children. The Imagins are simply well written, and in my opinion, their popularity can be matched with Den-O himself.
Just go read about fans' comments on the coming Den-O episode...it kinda foretells the end of a seriously important character (not before an incredible scene), and the fans are already 'mourning' for him...:(

But at least the kaijins in Kiva look seriously good! Hybrid monsters galore, like back in the classic Kamen Rider series. :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

Well, personally I find the sequence for the Rider Kick is quite appealing to me. Many things happening simultaneously as he leaps into the sky. Also, don't mind me if I'm a little late about this, but the nice touch of the Bat being hung upside down on the buckle looks really nice to me.

Official english name is masked rider Kiva. In japanese is 仮面ライダーキバ, the バ in japanese is pronounced as ba, so direct translate キバ is Kiba. There isn't a japanese word that pronounces with va, バ(ba) is the closest.

Seems like the back-hanging Bat is not so 'obvious' with the other attention seeking parts of the suit especially the leg. Overall should be quite fine except why must bring so many whistle and activation is to stuff it into the bats mouth :bang:

Pray hard, and it may come out good :D At least its cool, hope animation of Henshin is nice, don't like shout 'AMAZON!!!!!' than =))

The respective forms of Kiva only alter certain parts of his armor+visors:

Garuru - Left shoulder (blue)
Basher - Right shoulder (green)
Dogga - Body/Back (Purple)

Well, many speculate that he's gonna have a form that combines every color...sounds like Den-O, but in my image, more towards like Agito Trinity form.

Well, I like the idea of them always pursuing new ideas and methods of henshin...though I would very like to see the old method of henshin through arm movements!
The classic arm movements...are just so...CLASSIC! :laugh:

Why, like what Leslie say, must give this series a try first...not just this, but every one...gave Den-O a chance, and it had been an enjoyable ride...:D
Perhaps this series will start a whistle craze among children in Japan? :thinking:

Just watched the first episode...

Wataru has an even quirkier personality than Ryoutarou!!! :o
He collects fish bones, even trying to steal a meal from a cat!

But his father, Otoya, is even quirkier...

A bit unfortunate, the female leads in this series not that chio...:red:
At least not yet...haha...

And Kiva has gotta have the plainest Henshin sequence ever! :bang:

No mah...bats hang upside down when they are resting after all.

And yah, Kivat is upside-down when as the belt buckle...like the way the belt is designed, with a perch for Kivat to grab on to.

But Kivat needs to suck the blood to perform the kick? Thought he is sucking Wataru's blood so that his Fangaia side can be dominant and thus, henshin into Kiva. Think it's the whistle/Fuestle that's needed to break the chains and perform the Darkness Moon Break.

Castle Dran is very cute though...a clumsy dinosaur. But somehow, it means that Kiva cannot destroy the Fangaia indoors, since Castle Dran wun be able to eat the soul. :D

Complete edition? What's inside the package?

Anyway...this series starts off in the middle (since Kivat and Wataru already know each other) AND the very beginning (Otoya and Yuri's story), at the same time...so it's a pretty fresh concept...I like.

As for the elaborate kick...most superheroes have that, dun they? Like Super Sentai...before the mecha can combine, or even reach the destination, the monster can have the time to escape too.
In this case, I think Faiz series is more realistic in fighting (very on-the-ball style)...:D

I just don't get the dragon flying all the way out to devour the spirit of the villian. What the heck is it suppose to do? Anyway, I like the monster design, especially the colour. So much better than those from Hibiki, which I'm watching now.

Yeah...everyone's complaining about the Castle Dran.

Well, it does look cute...but redundant, except for hosting the 3 Fangaia that are for Kiva's forms! Can't wait!!

kiva rider kick is somewat similar to bleach sado's newly accquired technique -la muerte.

end results e same - both showin e signs on e wall - kiva's havin a bat alike/ sado havin e skeleton head. :beatup:

Kinda disappointed with this episode...they used the exact same sequence of most parts for Darkness Moon Break...:(

And once again, Castle Dran the rather-redundant creature/object is back, but this time the 3 main Fangaias are introduced!!! :hello:

Nice bike scene too...I like how the lights are placed on Machine Kiver. :red:

wow,sic kiva!!! i wan one!!! is it me or is it that the eyes are not porpotionate?

ep 2 was a bit rushed..especially rider kick,but its more impactful than the ep 1 rider kick,short and sweet...

Just find that the shoulder armor is a bit too big. And that the abdomen still has traces of red.

Uhhh ... the Dynamic Entry and green bodysuit thing was actually a little Naruto joke, but anyway ... :p

I'm not still not totally sold on the KR Kiva concept - the action and production values look good, but I'll probably have to watch the actual series for a bit before reaching an opinion. Just a bit weird lah, all these newfangled Rider bells and whistles. Just when I'm finally beginning to accept the concept of cards, now chut another type of new pattern.
That bat belt is soooo cute....:) Reminds me of Zaruba in Garo :)
Finally gotten round to watching a bit of Kiva. So far, it's like Garo lite.
Got ourselves a dark (well, not as dark as Garo lah) setting with demons who prey on humans, a mystical protector, a father-son storyline, a monster-sealing device, a Zaruba-sidekick ...

That girl, Shizuka - she looks like a female version of Toru Hojo from KR Agito O___0
