please give the names of the shops? otherwise no point mentioning i think... how bout we make this thread 'toy shops i prefer to shop'
so we can raise different gd points of shops in sg?
i'll start 1st:
Simply Toys @ Suntec & Raffles Place: Have rare pieces that are limted, and not many shops have their limited statues/toys/etc.
Latendo @ Sunshine Plaza: King of GASHAPON (that's what i would call them :P) they have a lot of Japanese toys
OZZO collection @ China Square: Selling designer toys, limited pieces and boss is generous.
XenoHobby @ South Bridge road: reasonable price, got USA and Japanese Toys
SpawnAsia @ Nan Kin Row: SUPER REASONABLE PRICES but one problem is the irregular opening hours and days.
Above toy shops are the ones i visit and buy most. :D
I am anti-comics connection, anti-action city, anti-minitoons.
Share your view guys! :hello: i will update if i forgot any

Apart from new toys the best place is CSC even though its slowly becoming rubbish.
Sure prices can either be really low or absurdly overpriced *coff*vincent's*coff*
But if you go there religously every sunday you will find what you want eventually.

Indeed, CSC gotta be the best central to find toys right now.
I always frequent La Tendo (near the place I study anyway), Ng's Collection, CSC...but La Tendo's moving to Kallang soon...:(
There's Dolls Inc. too, at Wheelock Place (is it called that?), but the place very 'high-cost-living' for me lah...very pressurized to shop there. :D

Ng's Collection is at CSC, his other shop is Dolls Inc (cater more to rich people and mainly tourists)

Due to the irregular supply of hot popular figures in Singapore shops, I already switched all my purchasing to online stores located in Japan which ship internationally.
So far, although I have to pay extra for EMS air priority shipping, at least I am guaranteed the toys if I reserved early. Also, I don't have to fear getting bootleg figures, which unfortunately some shops in Singapore try to pass off as genuine items.
This is the age of the internet. Live it. :supz:

ya share with us the site plssss. ;)
talking about bootlegs... are they considered made in china?
i realised my 1st collection of naruto (silver plate) might be bootleg! (got it from hk)
Grrrrr. cos i compare the 1st collection of the silver plate series with the ones i got in singapore is different!
sianz...
just want to mention how generous Latendo is by servicing their members so well.
They are goin to Japan to attend for the Wonderfest, and they emailed all the members to ask what our wishlist is and they will try to find for us when they r in japan. I think this is really kind of them to do this for their members.
I just wanna show my appreciation and let others know, that there are still decent toy shops out there in sg, that is still passionate about their business!
