Yes!!! Finally completed my collection. The HK compilation black & white version ended at Book 82 :prayer:

Sorry, don't know the exact price buy I know it's at least $10 per book :cry:

The starting was nice but as Ma Rong Chen left, the development was passed over to other artists and it gets from worse to worst :bang:

Anyway, stopped at #56 as I'm still waiting for my friend to pass me back my #57 :cry:

I got the normal series, completed but rojak, 50% msia version and 50% HK version. Earlier part is only Msia version as there ain't any comics shop in spore yet in the early 80's :(

i oso stuck with this comic when i was young (when ma rong chen is still drawing) but then i give up when he left yu lang man hua...coz just cannot take it lah...the other artists and writter cannot make it lah... :x :mrgreen:

Ya, there's a shopping complex called Summit in Batu Pahat, M'sia. It has quite a few comics stores located inside... The largest rental store used to sell the HK colored version compilation (2 - 3 years ago)... maybe can try asking for the b/w version...

(Am I allowed to post the addresses/ tel of the stores here?)

Or you can try Knowledge Bookstore in Bras Basah, they recently had a whole trolley of Hong Kong comics outside the store, only selling for 50 cents per copy or 3 for $1... But vintage titles are mostly M'sia version though...

Actually if you are willingly to pay, you can try searching Yahoo Hong Kong auction site, there are many sellers. You can try asking them whe they are willing to ship to S'pore... I got my 中华英雄 Amended version from a Hong Konger who actually posted in S'pore auction site...

Actually Feng Yun part 2 not bad lar(I watch liao) in terms of storyline. Definitely much more better than the part 1. The weakness should be the apprearance of some characters like Nie Feng, Po Jun etc...

The only redeeming pt is that hopefully the TV series will get popular, then it may cause Culturecom to re-release 中华英雄 in colour TPB. Much better than the crappy b/w version. :D

Bk 137 is the ending part when Hua Ying Xiong killed his daughter. Not sure Ma Sir drew up to which issue leh. Anyone can shed some light on this?

I think he drew until issue 150+... which i don't advise u to read since the story is not as good as before... anyway issue 137 is also a good point to stop IMO since the title is also called "ending"... u will notice that the drawing n story had already deteriorated during the black wind mountain arc partly becos he was hospitalized after being assaulted...

I personally like the Hei Long Hui arc, the duel at Statue of Liberty n the fight at Island of fire bird... u?

Just finished reading up to the part where Ying Xiong reached Chinatown. That's the part where I noticed significant change in Ma Sir's art style and storyline taking off from there. :D

The condition of the comics are quite bad due to they are published long ago. I'm planning to scan them into digital format for safe keeping. 8-)

I actually have two sets: one set is HK edition consisting of amended version issue 1 to 76 n original version #1 - 150 (keeping it for collection)
the other set which is my reading copy is really rojak consisting of HK version, M'sia version n coloured compilation... but recently i accidentally send my reading copies back to my uncle's home in M'sia... now can't read them...
