Come trace the history of Japanese animation or anime, as it is commonly known, at ACM this March! Let us transport you back some 600 years as we learn about the earliest forms of manga (comics) in an exhibition and get to see some of our local manga artists’ works. You can look forward to screenings of popular anime films and learn to draw manga-style comic characters in our workshops. Meet popular anime and manga characters in the flesh and learn from local animators as they share their experiences on making animated films.

Free admission to exhibition and selected programmes. Charges apply for film screenings and other programmes.

Maybe we can have a small outing to this Anime Fest for the members here. A "get-to-know" each other thingie. Do it on a small basis. Have a simple lunch.(Me and Pegasus are poor jobless kids lor :(( ), then go to this Fest and look look see see.

the 'anime scareenings' seem to be the shows that kids central showed like astro boy and a few others. in english somemore [-X

5 Mar: 4-5pm
19 Mar: 1-2pm

Mobile Suit Z Gundam (1985)
6 Mar: 1-2pm
20 Mar: 1-2pm

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (2002)
20 Mar: 12-1pm

12-1pm Astro Boy (2003)
19 & 20 Mar

Besides the anime screenings, there will be workshops, cosplays. Heard there will be rare toys and collectibles at a mini toy fair there on Sunday, 13 March! :dance:
I will be interested to know if there will be any non-anime cosplayers to be ard. Will like to see cosplayers from the visual-kei side. :rock:

wah from the pics that u had posted, the exhibition seems nothing to see 1... quite boring leh :(

Well, I likes the Kakashi cosplay but the hair is not pretty well done [-X
