ZOMBIE KING #0
And you thought Frank Cho could only draw hot women and dinosaurs…
Cho shows everyone how wrong they were on July 13th with Zombie King #0, co-written by himself and Eric Crowe. The black and white one-shot sets the stage for many more stories as well as many more opportunities for the depiction of flagrant violation of several state and county laws.
Cho has provided Newsarama with pages 7-12 of the mature readers issue, wherein readers can catch up with two North Dakota farmers taking on a zombie in a state that could best be called “interruptus.”
From the information about the issue that can be found at www.zombieking.com :
CONCEPT
A new breakthrough in medicine is here. A new drug that can mend bones, reconnect nerves and even reanimate dead cells. Only one pharmaceutical company has it and only they know the drug's dark secrets and the price of immortality. How far will they go to keep it all? How far will others go to take it?
THIS ISSUE
Disaster strikes the heartland. The North Dakota pharmaceutical warehouse is breached and the undead are unleashed. A small band of security guards and local farmers must fight to contain the zombies. How do you kill something that's already dead? Shoot repeatedly.
Zombie King #0 retails for $2.95, and, if nothing else, will have you saying, “Huh. Never saw that before…” in regards to a zombie and it’s…er…lust.
