Ya, that's wat I tink cos if u notice the Kunlun mountain in the background, it's featured in both covers... the jap version was just released today so Taiwan may still have to wait... jus hope they will release it...

The story big sucks to me, the arts are quite cartoon to me as well. And it is not my cup of tea [-X


And yes, the vol 1 & 2 can be combined together.

Manga are really very personnal likings and interests liaoz. For me, i can accept bishounen, bishoujin, ecchi or violence manga. Not many guys can accept bishounen stuff, but they can be quite nice to read sometimes lor. :hello:

My point is, I kinda like this manga. :laugh:
I have high hopes on this reissue lor. I will wait for them. :salute:

Thats the problem of drawing manga from stories that are well-known.
I am sure manga like Saiyuki, Long Lang Zhuan have ppl not happy for that the manga artist changed abit of the original story to fit their manga. Afterall manga need more juice and spice to make them more interesting mah. :supz:

To what i know, Bishounen stands for "Mei Shao Nian", Bishoujin should means something like Bijin "Pretty youngsters" and ecchi will be a "lighter" version of H but not to the extend that they are illegal to be printed. :dance:
I could be wrong though.
Bishounen usually draws a bigger group of female readers, dunno why also. Sometimes their drawings can be quite nice lor. But just that the BL cant be accepted easily by some males. [-X
Ecchi, i think for me i will rank I"s, Ichigo100% kinda stuff in it. Not the typical manga for youths lor. :D

there are also actually many funny scenes in the manga and though the story basically follows the novel but the author did add in his own interpretations; he included alot of science fiction elements giving the manga both traditional and futuristic feel... (e.g. one of the characters actually carries a lightsaber as his weapon... when 崑崙山 fought against 金鰲島, the fighting scenes just remind me of movies like star wars...)

the costume design is also very trendy IMO...
