Well, what i see in this forum there is a section on Toyland, so maybe the Auction will fit in there. We might want to call it AuctionLand. Each seller (who is part of the menbers here) can put up a thread post it in AunctionLand with picture(s) of the item and stating what price to start with to list the item. Example :-
Batman figures (with pictures attached/shown)
Start bid : SGD5.00
Reserve price : (optional) - price seller wnat to meet inorder to sell
Buy Now price : SGD100.00 (optional)
Bidding period : 10days (to be state by seller)
Other rules can be set by the moderator/seller depending.
So those who want to bid can send either private message of post it in the thread to show their bidding price. Any higher can be bid by any others in the menber of this forum if so interested i this item.
If there is a winner payment can be settle by their own contact or use paypal or SG internet banking up to them or they can meet. Is the sellers call for this to close the deal.
If a winner does not respond to item being the winning bid then moderator will be inform of this person he will be dealt with by rules in the forum. Shd not be a propblem.
All the above suggestion is pretty easy to play and implement. Id just like ebay and yahoo auction. Just that I have never seen a good forum auction yet. Try it, this will make the forum more active ya. :director:

Its interesting, we had planned to do up an auction before, but cant find the necessary resources to make it work like the real one. Since you said, we can look into using the fourm itself to create auctions :salute:
well, i do agree with this idea. but one thing hv to be clear. this frorum is just a platfom for members to hv fun. moderator or administrator just helping out ...iso in the rules, must state clearly, any successful or unseccesful transaction got nothing to do with this forum / moderator /admin...i hope we are not involve in all these money issue.....if the ppl who win the bid didnt turn up or respond...i think the seller shld bare with it (mod or admin is not in position to dealt with the winning bid member as this is not a commercial form or oficial auction stire like ebay)...so i think if we carry out this aution thing, all seller must agree to this rules before posting their stuff...
so all mod/admin....wat da ya think??

Think this is a special place for our members. Making this Auction is just another way we express our interest further to members sharing the same thought and minds over time in this forum. Anyway, I am sure all of us have something to auction out and let the next ownership of our items in auctions get a new beginning.
Aftersaid that, rules and terms need to be address when we talking about a transactions. This one if don't make it right can destroy the entire forum identity and respect. So is very crucial.
