SINGAPORE : Train services between the Woodlands and Jurong East MRT stations were disrupted for about 10 minutes on Monday at about 7.30am following an incident that involved an injured man.

The man fainted and fell on the platform at Woodlands MRT station, injuring his head.

SCDF officers were called in. They later sent the man to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Callers to the MediaCorp News Hotline said the man, believed to be in his 30s, appeared to be on his way to work when the incident happened.

The disruptions affected about 1,300 MRT passengers. - CNA /ls
