I would personally adopt this:

Everybody is responsible for thier life to make it exciting and be happy. If I want to do something, go ahead and do not be held back by too many people's views as majority will be negative.

If the reasons behind what I am doing is strong, 信念, nobody can hinder it.

Just like Beyond says 活着便精采 :rock:


But sometimes, circumstances do force you differently. I also didn't achieve any significant things in life yet, but will continue to look for it :dance:

In fact, i'm not complaining, just that find it tough to find a anchor point in life, my hobby cld be a "escape path", hmmm start to talk nonsense again.

I ever partner 2 friends on a comics shop, 2 years closed down.....but becos of no business but commitment.....no one wanted to do full-time and the worker play punk, so end up closing it down....plus some other reasons, business is very tough.... suck you to death :red:

Comic shop is my target, but I know it won't earn much and I might not get a chance to open one. Its basically for self satisfaction. If commited, may have to keep life simple as income will be reduced 8-)

hey...me too. agreed tat this is not a money making biz...but more to interest...but to think bout it...actually the money can comes in tru other ways....beside renting n selling comics...just look at tenchi comics...

Too bad the rental fees in Singapore is too exp liao. Recently, alot of shop owners complains about the rental fees kept rising and rising due to renovation etc.... Causes them to close down their shops... haiz...

Fortunately, this hobby still keep me abit happy :| All my old friends got 100k saving, got car, got big house but i only have bus 11 sigh.....

Yeah, look at the bright side. We have the money to spend & indulge ourselves with toys.

Think of those handicaps and old pple..... They either sing in the Orchard tunnel, or walk around selling tissue papers or even going to litter bins to collect used drink cans.....just for the sake of 3 meals for a day. Some even do not have any roofs of their own and resort to sleeping on public benches.

For us, it's a matter of having no money to pay off our debts or hobbies.....but for them, is a matter of hunger.

When you come to think of this, you will see that we're actually much better off than them ;)
