In abt 2-3 weeks time we will usher in the Lunar Chinese New Year of the Pig. Think alot of us will be doing some CNY preparations such as spring cleaning of our homes and other stuff such as buying new clothes etc.

For myself, i will be "spring cleaning' my own room 1st. Time to clean off dust ard the cabinets and toys that are put in the open. Another of my CNY routine is to gather soem frens and go for a walk in one part of Chinatown where there are lots of CNY related stuff. Although it's very squeezy but i feel the air there is filled with the CNY mood.

Queuing up to buy 'bah gua' is quite a dreadful thing but if i am activated i oso gotta go(eating it is the exact oppisite though). Man do i love the goodies that i can 'devour' during this time of the year. Simply drooling!!!

Come CNY eve either i be good boy stay at home watch tv or if got activation by my frens i will go Chinatown for the countdown thing n enjoy myself the mood of this traditional chinese festive season.

How abt u guys and gals? Doing any so-called preparations or simply wait to receive ang pows during CNY? :)

Usually I spring clean my room just before Christmas so I need not do so again before the Lunar New Year. Haha. However might wanna display some of the figs I bought to enhance the atmosphere.

Never queue up for Bak Gua before cos relatives always give a lot...

The usual stuff, i realli dread "spring" cleaning....The amount of dust in my room, i dun dare to imagine, but well, CNY is always nice, love the kind of mood where everywhere u go u ll see can feel that CNY is just round the corner...

I think this year will not b too much of a difference, mayb after the reunion dinner will gather some kakis go chinatown walk around ba...

Well I guess mine's not going to be much difference from the norm. Spring cleaning before the new year. Packing and arranging my stuff. Maybe its time to flattern all my boxes. Mop, sweep floor, clean windows etc. Usually would do 1 or 2 days of visiting. I guess thats about it. After all these. Heh heh. Time to do some serious toy shopping.

I don't really know what you do during Chinese New Year since I got no chinese mates and my relatives don't live close by. Most of them are in Hong Kong. I get red envelopes though. :D
