Anybody caught the movie yet? SO much hype about it and reported all over the place.

I won't be watching since I don't read the comic, but how good is it? Comic wise worth collecting?

My fren told me that Jordan Chan appears in the show for a few min only during racing. Not sure whether it is true anot??

Yep. Watched the movie. No Gay Chou for me, the actress also not nice :P

Anyway was there to watch the cars and effects which were quite nice - not something you get in your typical movie. Ah Mu and the Father Bunta were funny.. the story is different from comics and a little compressed :) recommended for people who like cars.

I love the anime but I just can't bring myself to see Jay Chou as the lead, it'll definately spoilt my impression of the anime, so I'll pass.

I think can get a new guy, acting skills not important as the lead doesn't have much expressions but at least must look the part lah, defiantely not someone who act cool all the time.

Problem is, if you follow the anime or manga, the main character (acted by Jay Chou) is always that quiet and doesn't talk alot.

The main focus (in the anime/manga) is on the car racing & the thoughts in the racers' mind in all the races......

In the beginning i didn't expect Jay to be good.
But the rest of the actors was good n funny. If not for them, this show would have been just another car stunts documentry show for me. :)

btw I watched on wed, the racing is good & cool ..but the sound effect not as good as too fast too furious.
Kenny Bee & Huang Qiu Shen are good & funny... the rest of the young punk to me are like ca le fe :laugh:
