They didn't use any 网纸, but conventional pen strokes for shadowing. Story is one of the best currently.

for me....i stil prefer the comic leh....maybe i'm the odd one...i stil prefer reading comic rather than anime...find it more original....maybe i prefer hand drawn art.... :mrgreen:

Than I am an odd one also, I prefer comic, I like to slowly enjoy the story and artwork. Same goes for scanned comics, they just dun feel good as having something to flip :)

Always prefered manga rather than anime. Anime usually not following the manga, always have their side scenes which manga doesn't have.

Probably, people is too lazy to read and flip through the manga due to their poor mandarin..lolz.. :laugh:

Unlike anime, full of actions and moving scenes etc... Can sit comfortably on the sofa or beds to enjoys watching the show..

Haha, lazy is the correct word, some ppl cant read and dun want to read also. When I start to read comics and novels, even had to standby a dictionary for chim words L-)

Boss i don' think its any of the channels above, if im not wrong, it was cartoon network that bought over naruto's license. So it will probably air on cartoon network 1st. :D

Animax's line-up of anime not very updated leh, and their animes shown are mostly the mainstream popular ones. Worse thing of all, the animes are DUBBED! I don't really like dubbed anime, i support subbed( english sub to be exact), but speaking of english dubbed, AXN was one company that did amazing english dubbing for animes last time, but since then they have switched to subbing. :thumbsup:

P.S.- jus 2 cents worth of my own views. :D

naruto makes u feel for almost all the characters in the story...
the way the story is presented gives u a feeling as if every character in the manga has a story to tell... its so interesting to know that the teacher(senseis) of the main characters(naruto, sasuke) in the story use to be young and even have teachers of their own...in vol 27...there is even a portion to tell the story of an adult character(kakashi) when he was young...ha...really cool

many concepts in naruto is very well explained and sounds logical... u will seldom feel that some parts are not connected which is often a problem in many japanese manga....

the skills and 'powers' of the characters in naruto have so many varieties that u will be interested in knowing how well they would be developed into.. the anime really gives credit to the skills and powers shown in the manga...naruot has one of the best presented fighting scenes in both manga and anime...

ha...to end off...naruto has a really deep story line... no harm trying to take a look at it... U wont regret de...!!

haha i m the earlier 1st to pick up the manga some 3 years back when it was a nobody. Now it was such a hit and will definitely go into the hall of fame like DB, cityhunter, Jojo and fist of the north star etc

Me too, the comics shop's aunty keeps on recommend me for this title but I never bother about it. During my NS, I borrowed the whole vol from my sergeant and I got hooked liao.

I bought myself a set though they r 2nd hand 1, but the condition is as good as new. $3 per vol definitely worth it during that time :D

Though the story is still exciting, but just somehow feels that not as good as before. The story becomes more 正經 currently. Still prefered the old ways though :sing: :hh4:

Sasuke seems potentially powerful, but i am a little disappointed that his appearance have not change much... was hoping for a more "evil" look.

That's b'cos, from what I heard, Tenchi & CY are having price wars. That's why everytime when you go to Tenchi, they will say TW comics (NT85) published by CY is same price as CY's version, i.e. $5.

That's why you see that CY releases the popular titles faster than TW :(

And if you go to Tenchi asking for CY comics, they only have some older & leftover titles, not the latest ones ;)
