UPDATED: TRANSFORMERS: INFILTRATION #0 COVERS
UPDATED *: While most publishers are gearing up their September release information, IDW has released it’s solicitation information for October, including it’s debut Transformers comic, Transformers: Infiltration #0, which carries a $0.99 cover price for 24 pages. The issue will have four covers.
The solicitation for the issue reads:
Written by Simon Furman, art by EJ Su, covers by EJ Su, Milx, James Raiz, Ed McGuinness.
The new era for Transformers begins now! After too-long an absence, the Robots in Disguise are back in comics form! This is the beginning of an all-new storyline and continuity that relaunches the Transformers from the ground up. If you've always been curious about these giant, transforming robots, this is the perfect jumping-on point! In this specially priced introductory issue, legendary Transformers writer Simon Furman is joined by artist EJ Su in presenting "Transformers: Prelude to Infiltration," the opening salvo in an upcoming six-part saga that returns the Transformers to glory.
In this 16-page tale, runaway Verity Carlo absconds with a mini-computer that just might hold bigger secrets than she's prepared to handle. And  when she's made aware of a larger conspiracy that involves gigantic alien robots, well, the skeptic in her refuses to believe what she's been told. Until she has no choice but to believe if she wants to survive at all! Also contained in this #0 issue are interviews with the Transformers comics creators and a hint of what's to come in our new, ongoing Transformers series in January '06. Plus, more variant covers than you can shake a Decepticon at. Covers will be shipped in a 1-to-1 ratio.

THE TRANSFORMERS: INFILTRATION #1
Written by Simon Furman, art by EJ Su, covers by Su, Guido Guidi, James Raiz and Andrew Wildman.
Earth: 2006, and the fate of the planet is already sealed, its destiny decided... by the marauding mechanical beings known as Decepticons. In their way stand an embattled crew of seven hardy Autobot warriors, sworn to prevent the impending Armageddon at any cost, and an unlikely trio of human misfits, pulled kicking and screaming into a hitherto hidden world of pain and hurt. The can of worms is open, the genie out of bottle... and nothing will ever be the same again. It begins again--here, now--the saga of the war-torn robots in disguise, the Transformers. Legendary Transformers writer Simon Furman and artist EJ Su pick up where they left off in "Transformers: Prelude to Infiltration" with the first official issue of Transformers: Infiltration. Covers will be shipped in a 1-to-1 ratio.

THE TRANSFORMERS: INFILTRATION #2
Written by Simon Furman, art by EJ Su, covers by Su, Guido Guidi, James Raiz and Andrew Wildman.
IDW's Transformers revival continues here! Something is very wrong! For over two years, the Decepticon infiltration unit has been patiently building and fortifying its power base on Earth, maintaining an entirely covert presence. But now*open warfare rages on the roads and in the skies, and exposure seems a certainty. It's all falling apart, and Autobot medic Ratchet wants to know why. It seems Verity Carlo's stolen computer is the key, but the real trick is staying alive long enough to unlock its secrets. 22 pages of pounding pursuit and automotive action*it doesn't get much better than this. Artist EJ Su provides a cover connected to his issue #1 cover image, and variant covers are once again offered up by Guido Guidi, James Raiz, and Andrew Wildman.

THE TRANSFORMERS #5
Written by Simon Furman, art by E.J. Su, covers by Su, Guidi, Roche, Wildman.
This is it--the one you've been waiting for! Megatron arrives on Earth, and he's not in the best of moods. His local Decepticon infiltration unit has broken protocol and gone rogue, and he's not about to take it lying down. Once he's got the whys and wherefores, there'll be due punishment meted out, starting with Skywarp and Blitzwing. What about the Autobots and their human allies? Well, they're all (wisely) staying well out of harm's way. All, that is, except for Verity Carlo, who's set for her own, personal face-to-face with Megatron! By Simon Furman and E.J. Su.

IDW'S SUMMER TRASNFORMERS TEASER
Tuesday night, IDW Editor in Chiefr Chris Ryall released a single image with the caption "A Storm is Coming - July 2006." Best bet - something Transformer related. Other than that? Ryall's not talking.
Speculation, commence.

THE TRANSFORMERS #6
Written by Simon Furman, art by E.J. Su, covers by Su, Guidi, Roche and Scherwinsk.
The first titanic arc‹Infiltration‹wraps up in spectacular, no-holds-barred style, as Megatron sets about‹demonstrably‹putting his house (on Earth) in order. But, mighty as he is, has even Megatron got what it takes to curtail the activities of the all-new, hyper-powered Starscream? Whichever way it goes, the outlook looks distinctly bleak for the beleaguered earthbound Autobots. Could be that it¹s time for Prowl and Co. to roll out the big guns?
