Like it or not, this is one show i think we cant really miss if u tune on the local tv now till 2007.

To be honest, i dun like the ideas of sms voting. Its like buying a win with money.(we seen xrf chionging very far with money...:bang: )

But there are really some unpolished gems lying ard. I think this yr MIGHT be better than last yr's wan. At least they accepted a BIG guy who really can sing, into the last 24 contestants liaoz.

BUT then, the judges had been very obvious this time in elminating those who looks lousier as those whom are of the same standards.
In the 1st eliminating round, some contestants were requested by the judges to go for makeover for the subsequent rounds. Some were even requested to changeover on the spot. So bor bianz, they just ran out and borrowed jacket and accessories from other contestants...
I guess this is bor bianz wan. Thats life lor...:sing:

I think the highlight of this part2 is to see that auntie keeping her promise to come back for this again lor.:laugh:

Then got this skinny guy sibey funny also. Tripping over when he exit the room and his actions. Super hilarious guy.=))

But the show was quite mean to have a segment with the "slightly overweight" contestants' clips together making a sight...What are they trying to portrait to the viewers huh?!:angry:

But got chio bu meh??? I think the eye candys last yr like more lor...:thinking:

The true Asian stars are people like Stephanie Sun, Tanya Chua, etc.

None of the "stars or Idols" made "famous" by our local TV channel is doing well. Some are "blackstab" in many ways and times they have with a barely alive status.:duh:

Watch out for them in the last 24. They have no reasons not to be in. They have the skills and not bad looks.


Now, to the down side of tonight's show.

Yesterday was a female prc demanding the judges to point out her problems and saying she went thru professional trainings.
Tonight is a male prc. He got thru the 1st round. At the 2nd round, The judges didnt like him for this singing and attitude. He was blasting off that the contestants before him were not no way as good as him, but they got through and why not him. No 2nd word, off he go.:shooting:
Off stage when he was interviewed, he was so stuck up saying that he doesnt know who the judges are and they arent professional.:duh:

Lets face the facts lor. U see PSS 1, which one of the last 24 is ugly looking or fat wan?
Wei Lian actually consider not that bad looking lah. Whatsmore they should have consider his fanbase built up on his singings and partly sympathy.
Yes, i know i am very mean to say sympathy. But we have to face the fact that there are really some sympathy points given on him from voters wan.

PSS 1, i only like this slightly plump gal who can replica Sun Yanzi very well, and this guy who looks abit like a chipmunk. He is now botak in ns.:D

From what i rem, the saturday repeats are usually the compeitition already.
So i cant be too sure if this pre-compeitition clips will be on saturdays too...

But its a gd chance to catch the raw talents in their most "lok kor" and down to earth images lor.:D

Mir, u have to read my posts again to see why i told des that.

I told him there are repeats at mn of the same day. But he says he missed that too. SO i am just telling to try see if saturdays have another round of repeats. Coz previously such shows would have repeat telecasts on saturdays too.
I guess i am wrong on the midnight slot then.:P
I am no walking tv directory. I would have no idea what time slots have what shows...

Dun really like this season superstar. Still prefer the first season. As compared to their faces, the first season is better, even the judges said so.

Didnt really watch so cannot compare their vocals. But heard the guys sang and shiyu is out of the competition. Find that the guys vocal is better then the first season......although their looks hmmmm.......

From the eps i watched, they say its better this season wor. And they say the winner will be a guy again.

This season2, the judges are pretty obvious to be very biased on looks. Rem the prelimary rounds how they ask the contestants to go out borrow accessories to look better? That turns me off totally.

Then the Big botak man didnt get into final 24. Mag eliminated last wk. All these are just just disgusting.:angry:

same. At least looking at its season1, their contestants are more versatile in looks and singings.
But just that harder to tie them down on contracts coz mostly are sec sch or JC sch students...

back to school lor. i guess it's the only competition without much follow up, contracts etc etc because they are all underage. But you can spot some of them performing a CCs, special functions etc etc
