Souten no Ken

This is the prequel of Hokuto no Ken, or Fist of the North Star. The main character is a successor of Hokuto Shinken, Kasumi Kenshiro, who is an uncle of Kenshiro, the protagonist of Hokuto no Ken. The story takes place in Shanghai in 1935.

currently up to ep 4.
Same storyline as the manga. So all the talky talky bits are still inside but got fitting music to go along with the dialogue. No spectecular fight scenes yet and they seem to scrimp and scrouge on the characters' costume. All flowery/dragon embriodery are gone.:shooting:

The souten no ken anime are cool, but the downfall is that they are all in damn japanese. Do you have a link to the anime with english subtitles or which are in english? Please.:pray2:

This young boy is ryu ken, the teacher of Kenshiro in hokuto no ken. Kasumi kenshiro is Hokuto no ken 62nd succesor, ryu ken is 63th succesor and Kenshiro is 64th succesor.
