A spectacular new chapter in the WildStorm Universe is revealed in this exciting 9-issue miniseries written by Robbie Morrison (THE AUTHORITY) with art by Talent Caldwell (SUPERMAN: GODFALL), Horacio Domingues (Lazarus Jack) and Matt Banning (Uncanny X-Men, The Darkness)! Zealot and her Coda sisters are the elite warrior-class on their homeworld of Khera, feared throughout the galaxy. A single name, however, strikes fear and hatred into their hearts: Nemesis!
Framed for the betrayal and slaughter of the Kheran military forces on Earth at the dawn of mankind, rogue warrior Charis Adrastea embarks on an epic quest to avenge the massacre, uncovering a conspiracy that threatens the entire universe. Hunted by friend and foe alike, she takes the name “Nemesis” — from the Greek goddess of vengeance, whose myth she inspires. Now, as her blood-soaked quest nears its end, only the Wildcats can stop her!
This miniseries plunges readers into the midst of the one-woman war Nemesis has been fighting for millennia. Each issue features a present-day sequence with art by Caldwell as she nears her quest’s end, and a flashback with art by Domingues that reveals her origins and follows her vendetta as it spans human history!

This Talent Caldwell is pretty good, saw his art in Superman: Godfall. Anyway it's been ages since I last picked up a Wildcat issue, dropped the title after Travest Clarest left, so how's the story nowsaday? Are the members still the same when Jim Lee created it?

Yo gogetter!
The WildCATS of today are a far cry from when Jim Lee last left it. Hardly any costumes, more covert activity and a neat role for Spartan.
Here's a hint: Spartan now heads Halo Corp and has hatched a rather ingenious plan to benevolently dominate the world through cool commercial products, beginning with a battery that never runs out of power. The rest of the cast are also active but not all of them are in the limelight. For more details, scope out the tpb---WildCATS Ver 3.0: Brand Building.
Spartan now kinda reminds me of The Watchmen's Ozymandias

Sounds cool! So they're no longer at war with the Daemonites?

Yo gogetter,
The whole Kherubim vs Daemonite war wrapped up a long time ago.
Haven't seen any references to Hellspont and the Daemonites in this new series so far.
No Maul. No Void. No Marlowe. No Warblade. No VooDoo. No Zealot too but it's all good.

So there's only Grifter and Spartan in the new series? How about Lady Tron?

Nope, no Lady Tron either. However, you'll find among others Dolby, Wax and the Beef Boys.
Oh yeah, Grifter's in a wheelchair too

Jialat, I don't even know who these people are. Probably going to give this a miss since I've already missed out a huge chunk of Wildcats history.

Yo gogetter,
It's not too late to join the ride. There's been two tpbs so far and don't worry about those new characters, they're specifically tied to Wildcats Ver 3.0, hardly any connection to the previous Wildcats series.
I checked, the original Wildcats were shown in one page as quick re-cap for Dolby. Give it a shot if you can.

to add on...
i only got to know abt wildcats thru' the animated series back in the late 90's...did the animated series follow the story as in the comic...what happened to the daemonites?

Oh I think the animation follows the Jim Lee version. The Daemonites are still around, they can be seen in the pages of Majestic.

Whoops...
...so that's where they're all hiding. Gonna check out Majestic soon.
Is it the Majestic tpb? Majestic in Superman comics?
