Some stuffs i dig out recently(need some help here)

Recently my parents did some digging due to some purchases of mine, and i discovered a bulk of the toys i thought was already recycled into some tuberware and stuff... anyway cut the crap, would need some help here to advise me on the market value of the toys, as some i really dun have any idea what they are in the first place.

Would appreciate all helpful comments and directions. Thanks!

Wah GORE is vintage stuff leh. OER (Original European Release) But dunno what's the market value sia. No reissues for this one BTW, so want to buy also cannot.

prob some old jap toy..
not official TF though..

Well, it's a transformer as in can transform,
but not official TF, as this was probably way before TF era..
so can't say it's a KO as well..

also, there is no TF product that looks like this,
so there's nothing to KO from..

Hi Jankdev,

The Gore is a vintage. The red and black one ("Iron Kong") is also a vintage, but from the original Japanese line. the Japanese line came out first, then some of the designs were repackaged and/or given faction changes and marketed as a separate European release.

Gore is fairly well sought after because it is the only (at least I can't remember of any others) European recolour to actually have a remoulded part. The shoulder cannon is different from the original Iron Kong, so collectors like it.

Pricing can vary greatly, depending on the condition of your Gore. Things that will devalue it are stickers applied, stickers anyhow applied, hardening of rubber caps, dead motor and/or lights, missing parts (including the chrome pilots), parts not cleanly cut off from the sprue. But you do have the box, which appears in good shape, so that is a plus. Got instructions oso good.

I'm really out of the market when it comes to pricing. However, I do know that Unc Steve was selling a loose Gore (and without the shoulder cannon some more - he replaced it with an Iron Kong cannon) for $150 - and there was quite a bit of interest. If yours is complete + box and working motor, I don't see why you can't get anything less than $300. But as I said, I've been out of the vintage scene for a long time now.

Then again, the guys at Zoidpoison I believe have an auction-watch thread, so people will definitely be looking at your Gore if you put it up for auction ...

As far as I know only one type of original Gore existed. The rest are Iron Kongs.

For Jankdev's benefit, I'll list all the vintage Iron Kong variants I can remember at this point :p

Original Japanese release
1. Iron Kong (red and black)
2. Iron Kong Mk II (black and orange IK recolour but got additional booster pack). This has recently been reissued.
3. Iron Kong Mk II Limited Edition (red and silver IK recolour but got IK MK II addition plus other weaponry from the Zenebas Custmize Set). This was "partially reissued" in the sense that the additional parts were bundled with the New American Release somewhere in 2000 (ie you could try and go for a self-repaint) - but that is also hard to find now. Anyway the IKMKII LE is still a very valuable piece if you have it.

Original European release
4. Gore the Lord Protector (black and grey IK recolour BUT with different shoulder cannon). Never been reissued. Cannon is only to be found with Gore.

Zoids 2 release
5. Iron Kong (Chrome gold and red IK recolour).

These are all considered vintage. 1, 3 and 4 are worth money. 2 not so, because of reissue. 5 is a not hot because pple dun like the chrome or something, and can still be found in some toy shops. Last time CSC got pple clearing at $25 each ...

Friend, 2 big items in your centurion pic is silverhawk stuff. As for centurion, if you wanna differentiate the items for each, you can refer to my gallery thread to have a rough guide but for 'Jake Rockwell' stuff, i mix 3 sets up in a pic.

Centurion stuff price ranges like crap. it depends on how 'complete' and 'condition' and if the box is around. I cant really gauge as the items are mix up. For your info, maybe you wanna use some keywords as search tool.

Title: Centurions, Power Extreme

Blue: Ace McCloud (IC of Sky)

Green: Max Ray (IC of Water)

Brown: Jake Rockwell (IC of Land).

As for the silverhawks mix up in the pic. the green one whom shoulder blade spins while you move the head up and down, is selling at [$5] without its orange 'Hawk'. you need the orange 'Hawk' to complete it.

Friend i spot the 'Hawk' of the green blady guy. Sorry forget his name. Its in the bottom right of the pic. When you press its head and tail together, it should spin its whole body.

how is the condition of m.a.s.k. raven vehicle? i can't remembered if there is any accessories for the vehicle. as for the front part which need to be turned around, still workable?

the box is still in a good condition although there is some dented at the corner.

i think it can fetch a good price in the auction....

i remembered raven vehicle was very popular back then...not bad, i dun have a chance to own it...only had a thunder hawk...:cry:

Dennis, the mask car is nice, think i'm keeping it, the transformation still works and the saw kinda of bullet still able to shoot out.

I found the blasterhawk for master of the universe box, but the toy i seems to lose it. That toy was real fun during my childhood.
