Yap....manga version.

Bought it when I went over to TW. No time to ope it up to read. But from the cover, the art doesn't look promising.

I only have some episodes of the anime and I like the story, that prompted me to buy the manga version.

Anyone read this series already? Any comments?

This is the story plot:

Plot Summary: Tate Yuuichi is overjoyed: He gets to go to a brand new high school. Of course, then he just happens to find out the school he choose is under frequent attack by strange creatures called ''Orphans'', and the school set up a special task force of female members called ''HiME''s, using various elements as their powers, to battle these invaders. That's not all, though. Each member of the HiME task force has their own, unique ''Key'', another person whom, upon being discovered, can team up with the HiME to create a ''Child'', a combative unit specifically needed to effectively battle these Orphans. And with Tate's luck, he just happens to find out he's not just the ''Key'' for one of the HiMEs, but for two... Two highly competitive, rival schoolgirls. And that's only the start of the trouble.

Its anime is not bad, but from the looks of the manga's cover, I have no intentions in flipping it already. The very 1st thing a manga attracts me is its cover. If it fails to, i dun place high hopes in its contents liaoz... [-X

I think he may be referring to Book 1. Trust me, Book 1's cover is even worse than Book 2's :(

Just bought the comics #1. The cover is really "weak" but the art is ok and the pace quite fast. Think worth reading :D

Where do all of you get your books from??

I can't seem to find them, ( and book 1's cover really
looks horrible!! book2 looks so much better )

There are lots of shops bringing them actually if u spend some times searching.

The lists that u may finds from..
1) Comics Connection (full variety of titles)
2) Kino (Orchard Main branch preferred)
3) Tian Di
4) Neighbourhood comic shops (make sure they brings in TW titles)

nvr got the chance to flip tru this title yet...but the cover seems a bit weak to me loh....maybe the design not attractive enough.... [-X [-X so i decide to put it aside first, now too many good title to collect...buey tahan liao....

Frankly, above average only, not a must buy, think the anime sld be better. Nowadays must go for really good ones:D
