I not turn a mole hill into a mountain but this worries me a lot and sad at the same time. This Walk-a-jog on Sunday morning is not the 1st time I have seen PRC Chinese resident/PR/FT/II/?? out number our local Singaporean in activites which suppose to be more Singapore oringinally. All I ask is an even amount of Singaporeans to "counter" this tide of worrying threads. I love my country more than a foreginer and will not bear to see this continue into the future.

Worries:

1) Singaporeans dun work out even on weekend (lazy or burnout?)

2) Singaporeans dun show support to "lame" activites even when they know it.
(many things to do and more attractive)

3) Foreginers are more "on the ball".
(there are freebies on many events to give where are my Kaisu Singaporean)

4) Foreginers outnumber Singapore in events sent "wrong" message to locals.
(events which are Singaporean turns you know)

5) Harder to "civilised/educate" PRC Chinese to do simple things like join the line for freebies even when barriers are set up.

6) A "drowning out feeling" which I think my MP dun know will worry but I do.
(Only Singaporean who still love/or some left for the country will feel this effect. Sorry, if you dun fall into this catogery.)

(*There are some good lots of PRC Chinese resident/PR/FT/II/?? out there dun get dishearted and angry of my threads, thank you. I also doing my best to counter the tides of PRC Chinese resident/PR/FT/II/?? people turning up for my C.C events by "forking out my own $ 1st claim late late" to encourged my people of the comic club and friends to join in events.)

Koo I agree with you that sporean are more lax nowsadays for this kinda activity....even I dont like to join...kekeke paiseh...

but as new migrant, the PRCs are more willing & are trying harder to adapt to the new society, thus more on the ball.

It's good to see that they join this kinda activity as they'll get to know more of the town they are staying in :D

dont be dishearten Bro, look on the bright side, cheers :D

i haven't even heard about the Walk/jog...

What was the target audience? Certainly not the local families i'm sure... school holidays last week... Sunday? Singaporeans cannot wake up on Sunday mornings.. its a common phenomenon
