I think here in HOBBY HYPE there are quite a few student here... Some time we will study outside as home is too noisy. Is there any good location in Singapore where we can mug quietly without getting disturbance?
PS: any one here know sengkang got any good location to mug? Not C.C or library pls... (cause kids are taking these place as playground!)

National Library is a good place to start. The silence at the study corner at basement 1 is startling.

Firstly I would ask if the studying period is in the day or night. Of cos at night there are so much more options to go to. In the day I guess National Library is a good choice. Go somewhere like lvl 6 - 8. Its super quiet there.

Hmm... how about Singapore Poly library...? I did study there during one of my Uni exams. At least, you won't feel you are alone as there are so many students studying for exams...:D

I'm from SP. I advice not to study at the library. Unless you could book those project rooms (only available to students) if not it could get really noisy at times.
Eh, some C.C.s(communtiy centres) have a reading room where it is good place to study and read up some of the alviable stuffs like books and newspaper. I know some C.C dun promote their reading room as they try to "sell/convent" the room into business generating room for private/public businesses as no paying user for the room in time means more $$$ into the pockets of you know who are the people lah. ("fake" business are popping out in C.C. if you know as the busines are more than 80% "insider" using their connections and pay less than what you do in normal terms) I know the "X" files of these people who have business in the C.C. after 8 years of coummunity service.

From NUS.
Used to study in tutorial rooms, study benches or inside the library. Medicine Library is the most quiet one ;)
Apart from that, also went to Fast Food Restaurant to study during my 'O's ;)

I always study at home, because I really can't find a better place outside
One thing about fast food restaurants, I find that I can concentrate on reading in fast food restaurant compared to the supposingly quiet National Library.
I heard some CC's have study rooms that are quite conducive, but needs $$.
