Viper Comics has released a preview of The Middleman, a new miniseries launching in July. Created and written by Javier Grillo-Marxauch, a writer on ABC’s hit series Lost and illustrated by Les McClaine, the miniseries promises to pull the curtain back and show that our reality is constantly under attack by monsters, aliens, and talking primates. Why don’t we know about any of this? The Middleman.

As Viper explains it: Working in absurd secrecy, the Middleman stares down threats from the extra- infra- and juxta-terrestial with a big gun and a have-a-nice-day grin. The Middleman: he fights evil so you don't have to.

The Middleman is a 32 page B&W comic book that arrives in stores July 2005, Diamond item code: MAY053063

Neat!

Kinda like a one-man Men In Black thingy.

Could be worth a shot

talk about man in black, its always the comics dudes that make reference to it. I used to have some regular friends at the defuncted comics art gallery, always talking about MIB, and making reference. they said that if you read comics, you understand MIB. saying that MIB is so pop culture. any grain of truth?

Yo RascalF!

Got grains of truth there! If you read comics, you'd appreciate MIB more (most probably because MIB began as an indie comic series). Guess it's the we-know-what-the-REAL-world-is-like thinking that appeals to most comic readers especially the sly digs that every major celebrity or personality is actually an alien.

MIB 1 is way better than MIB 2
