Some thoughts and feedback from some members...
There are too many sub sections in the games section, rather than having slow traffic in the sub sections, would it be better if we merged the sub sections as one gaming section? And if in the event in future if the gaming section becomes too “rojak”(By then which the forum will have grown) meaning where it becomes difficult to source for the info you wanted, then sectionalize the gaming section then, would be more appropriate.
By having the game sections without any sub section for now have a few advantages,
HH has just started out, and the impression they get from the forum homepage is there’s a lot of focus on many things. Which tends to confuse and irritate the surfer actually and HH priority now they feel is drawing the members in and getting the discussion going.
Secondly,as PS2 gamer, there’s less likelihood they will go into the Xbox sub section. By having the gaming section as a whole, they would be able to glance through the latest info on Xbox as well as other platforms and there’s a chance they will be interested at what Xbox has to offer and therefore generate posts which will keep the discussion going. They would also be encouraged to post when they see there’s substantial posting done in the gaming section itself rather then a few threads in PS2 and another few in Xbox.
