I know i have seen this thread of our guys showing their collections around. i can't find it and would appreciate if the helpful forumer can direct this thread(talk about mod asking for help)
anyway here's my collection of cha pa lang. which i can honestly say cannot beat most of our astute forumers.but hopefully something to look at and share with
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y272/loke_wei/IMG_0456.jpg

these collection got my wife screaming at me for spending money. I really paiseh and try to pacify her by getting some nice Celia Loe dress in return.(which is a very good deal. $270 dress for a $77 g-taste set)

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y272/loke_wei/IMG_0462.jpg

what's left of most of my proud toy collection. total annilation. most of it auction off for diaper and future school money for my child.the Sharp box holds my precious collection of "ahem" friendly ware, the box at the lower left is my star wars collection of figures(total is about 120 pieces estimate)and the rest of the toys are chuck behind

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y272/loke_wei/IMG_0465.jpg

my cabinet shelve is cramp with all the MGS toys, movie maniac series, for the sharp eyes-you might see some naruto comics lying around and the borders wrapper holds my collection of 20th century boys

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y272/loke_wei/IMG_0463.jpg

some of my treasured collection of comics and my wonderwoman figures.most of it are at my parents' store(hopefully)

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y272/loke_wei/IMG_0464.jpg

wonder woman again.hmmmmmmm....... and at the back is the entire set of "where the wild things are" which is my all time favourite children book.it had a huge impact to my childhood. I will hand this to Junoir very soon (great power comes great responsible)and way at the back is the sin city Marv (electric chair figure)

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y272/loke_wei/combine.jpg
the toys that caught my attention during lunch time break(got it from Suntec gift shops. now sitting on my desktop monitor. For privacy purpose i had remove my wife and junoir's pictures.

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y272/loke_wei/IMG_0458.jpg

abit blurry but you can still spot some of the influences from anime. Liked Godzilla, ghost in the shell, totoro. The rubber ducky is for the kid........in me. All sitting on top of my TV set.

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y272/loke_wei/IMG_0461.jpg

The family fridge holds my collection of Hello Kitty magnet. Still waiting for year 1995. and 2001. as a chronic collector, i am really anal about completing the collection even to the extend of paying premium for the last few pieces. The stars wars magnetic head was another recent addition, spotted it and bought the entire set.(make a guess , which of the head is the chase figure-clue?the one that fell into the salaccious pit)

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y272/loke_wei/IMG_0466.jpg

i know this may looked out of place but collecting movie banner is another hobby of mine.which is really expensive owning to the rarity of these banners,(local cinema don't sell it)on average i bid 50USD per piece, shipping is another 30USD. So far i have the spiderman2, terminator 3 twin banner, hulk, minority report, daredevil, lost in translation, LXG,peterpan(with today's strait time),swimming pool, sin city hartigan movie banners and etc. All these will be pass over to my kids as heirloom.
wife will surely eat me alive if she knows about it.all of the banners are still in the states with another friend of mine.see that peter pan banner, it will be the centre piece and proudly hung in my Junoir's room.

http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y272/loke_wei/IMG_0470.jpg
one part of my mcfarlane MSG,(which i think is one of the best stealth/espionage game other than splinter cell)

phew, anyway the rest of my collection are spread around, some are displayed in the office workstation, the rest are at my parents.i hope you enjoy this tour.i also wished to see our fellow forumer's collection which i think will be way interesting than mine. ;)

wah rascal, didn't know you got so much, how come we never talk about it before?

Oh yah, the previous collection is not a thread, it was a gallery. We should be able to get one gallery up this year for everybody to upload, provided this forum can be sustained, than cost is viable

In the meantime we can use this thread.

Haaa....The glass cabinets are from Ikea....Usual price is $150 for one, but i got it at their sale...One for $99....Alot of collectors as well as shops using this kind of cabinets...Think its cheap lah...But one down point, got gaps in between the door so not realli dust proof...But better than leaving ur stuff in the open loh, got to maintain once in awhile.... :)

i got one suggestion...if possible...next time when take pic in room, try to use tripod (can get those mini one at normal camera shop), then set to night mode (if using auto camera) or use manual timing mode (i think can set to 1/30 or 1/15 should be ok)...then ur pic will looks good and wont be blurr.... :hello:
pw: if toys in boxes, try not to use flash....reflection makes the toys looks 刺眼
...jus my 2cent op..... oh ya...try to turn on your ceiling light....
