Given the tall order of putting the trading needs here, no wonder not many people list it.
I still feel that it is easier to allow what one is looking for to be posted in the relevant thread.
Just my opinion.
Hello to everyone, after some discussions as to whether trading/selling of tikam extras will be allowed or not in the respective threads,we have come to a decision that all the selling/buying of tikam extras will be done in this thread only.
Please take some time to read the following simple guidelines:
1. Each member is only allowed ONE post.
2. He/She can list what's for sale and what he/she's looking for in the post.
3. No selling/buying of complete gashapon/trading figure sets in this thread.
4. To reply, please use the PM function to contact the other party.
From now onwards,we hope this thread will help our members to clear away their extras and also to complete their sets after tikaming(gashapons/trading figures).
Please take note we will edit or delete any posts which does not follow these guidelines. We will also delete any "looking for" and "selling" type of posts in the respective threads in the Mini Fantasy section.
Please feel free to pm me if you have any feedbacks or comments regarding this issue.
Thanks and happy tikaming! :)

As Godmaster mentioned, we are trying out the current method as a constructive suggestion given by members and is monitoring the situation.
Not to be pointing at anyone, but for genuine collectors, we would gladly make it easier for you guys to trade and will be more or less assured of healthy postings. But for real sellers, resellers or people who may try to take advantage of the system or creating problems, there will be a hard time trying to monitor their activities, that's why we initially wanted to keep trading solely at the FleaMart. This is one of our main concern :)

it appears to me that its not just the problem of that thread. hobbyhype seems a little "dead". the people posting in the Action figures/Vinyl figurines, Mini Fantasy forums are rather few. u only see the same few pple posting.
btw heres wad my opinions on not being able to post dat u want or sell entire sets.
ur aim is to prevent real sellers from selling sets and making profits right? to do so u put dat users cannot post dat they are selling entire sets. im agree with dat. but i was wondering why we cant put whole sets in our lists of wants. sometimes genuine collectors may be missing an entire set but they cant post it. if they were allowed to post the sets they want, they may have an easier time trying to find it.
and heres a suggestion. when i want to subscribe to a thread, i click on thread tools and a list of stuff drops down. so i was thinking maybe we could implement a similar feature to the mini fantasy forums. we could have a trading post option beside the thread tools option. den when the user clicks on it, a list of posts of users' haves and wants can be found.

U can put whole sets in ur list on wants of course. And that can be done in the HH Fleamart where u list down ur wants and sales. This thread is only for tikam extras.

cause not much people know about this site....some quit forum after the incident of another 'site'...so if you want to make this place more lively, help by posting more & letting more people know of this site's existence, rather than ranting away..no offence, but this is a fact....:topic: ;)

Below is all IMO:
Extra Gasha Thread
To me this thread has quite a few good points. Yes, i do agree that restrictions here and there do scare ppl away but its norm in life siah. Go everywhere also got rules. BUT its there, to facilitate, keep things nice nice for everyone. Sometimes we tends to forget the good will of why stuff is created in the first place. For the ppl of HH, we are a grp of ppl who are very diversify and has tons of 'likes and interest' so got tons of things to sell or trade siah. If read in past post, one will understand, there is 'heavy gasha Extra traffic'. IMO its nice to have a dedicated place to let all fufil their complete and bye bye extras. And for other stuff, the Flea M.
:topic: life here?
Sorry for OTing here as this has been brought up again. To me, bringing 'life' to a forum, starts with EVERY individual. You find no 'life', you will post more, jio more ppl and try harder. Its everyone's effort, EVERYONE's FORUM. Its Ours not only the founders or you know. I have MIA for sometime due to some commitments and for my part, now once i am back, i resume my role in updating the threads that i am in-charge while supporting everywhere i can. To me this is nt a job or burden or whatever. It is pure Passion. Passion to share and click. Ppl umm we dont OT here liao k, :shooting: myself. For this thingie, let our passion shows by being vanguard and others will follow, that is what i believe. Passion, thats why we are here.:D

That thread in Mini Fantasy is quite clear as in helping members in their collections. But with regards to the "prevent real sellers from selling and making profits", it is not the intention of HH. In fact there is no way we can verify who is a seller, shop owner etc...So the main "worry" is when people take advantage and create a unhealthy forum. Even if there are real sellers, as long as they keep sales within the FleaMart and according to guidelines, nobody is going to bother them and they are most welcomed as part of HH :salute:
For reasons on why we try not to allow trading within threads as raised before, it is quite apparent:
Imagine Member X posted in 50% of the threads in Mini Fantasy, and every post he make is something like "Selling cheap, PM me", "Anybody interested can PM me", "3 sets left", "2 sets left", "Final set, get it before its gone"......it really annoys everyone except himself, and there is no reason to fault him if we had allowed that to happen, unless we go into micro-managing the forum which we would not want and can't afford the time :)

Good suggestion, but limitation due to software and we don't have coders as part of the team to implement that. However, we will look into different ways of trading and hopefully able to roll out something useful for the majority :yeah:

wah lau eh, please tell me which other forum got alot of people in this topic.
SGC no doubt got alot more people under their McF items, but their urban vinyl got even fewer regulars than HH, as for Katoots, the PVC fig section never really take off in the first place.

As mentioned different forum, different audience..you can't compare among other forums....so what they have fewer regulars..at least there are people who view the threads & people posting.....its their choice.....:D
