It is my 1st Hk weekly, started from 风云死战最终回, now borrow from my fren about once a year.

How's the standard of the story now? Drawing wise of course cannot complain, Ma Sir is one of the best artist around.

Should he just let 风云 die once and for all and start a new generation?

U r wrong. I would rather Ma Sir ended this crappy story asap. Dun wish to see any new generations in future.

Keeps coming out those loads of villians more and more. The later part they introduced the new villian, the more skillful they r. :bang: Never endings.

Who watch the feng yun TV series part 2?? I felt that it is farly batter than the part 1. Most of the storyline follows the novel except some parts that they changed it themselves...

Just watch the 屠龍 parts where 步驚云, 聶風, 懷空, 破軍, 斷浪, 皇影 & 劍晨 using their 七武器 slaying the dragon. The 3d dragon is pretty nice well done but totally different from the manga. In the manga, they are slaying the dinosaur dragon "T-Rex" while in the TV series, they r slaying the chinese history of ancient dragon instead...

Last qns here, how 懷空 died in the manga? I've forgotten it since many yrs back liao. Anyone??

Well, I remember 懷空 sacrifise himself. But was also the biggest mistake for 馬榮成 to come up with this choice :evil: A pity that 懷空 was dead :(( He is my top 3 favourite character beside 風 & 雲 :rock:

This is also 1 of my reason to stop collecting the HK compilation after the 2nd generation :(

Just like 王小龍 died in the old 龍虎門 series

Same does 劍晨, although he had learnt some skills from 無名's bro but quite suprised that he turned out to be so skilful after he gotten 無名's bro arm :shock:

藍武 is just another shadow of 斷浪

Can't Ma Sir creates new characters like 皇影 etc... Like neutral characters which doesn't belongs to righteous or evils etc...

wow, hot topic on feng yun o...i stopped after i've seen the stupid t-rex come out, the dragon nie feng they all suppose to slay. i was so angry and disappointed that i wrote a letter and snail mail to ma sir :D :D :D something like when i was jc or army time

but still, fengyun cover illustration is the best, i esply like those 山水、鸟、轻舟 covers, got traditional chinese painting flavor. :)

I really got no place for the Feng Yun 合订本. Today I just bought book 56, and free a 绝世好剑 keychain. But how come so suddenly they decided to change the paper quality?

It took me quite sometimes to decide whether to continue to buy or not, as I really got no room for it already, I still got other manga to collect... If Feng Yun never end, then I dont know how liao... Mr Ma please dont come out Feng Yun part 4 anymore...

At 1 point I was thinking of collecting the TPB cos the story was really very good during the early days but there were already too many vol released and would have cost me a fortune. That was during the time when the movie came out, in the end went to rent from rental shop and read until part 2 only. Felt that part 2 the story already start to drop in standard. :(

Xiao Wu had his own weapon in the latest issues. Shi Qiang Wu Zhe is blinded by Jian Chen.

And yes the mysterious young man sitting on the donkey is the actual evil of Jue Shi Mo Jian which came from the sword's world.

i'v been reading feng yun since i was 14. now i'm twice that age and Feng yun is still going on?!!! WTF!

When i was 17, Ma Sir wrote that he will want the series to end by issue 200. look at it now, keep dragging on, pointless.

for two reasons i think...
1. he ran out of ideas or talents to come up with something better.
2. he can't afford to lose, or too afraid to lose, so he keep trying to milk more out of this classic. in the end... he ruins it.

I give up on Ma Sir liao. don't want to read his comics anymore.

Actually the good thing about Tian Xia is that anything that comes out from their factory, the drawing is gurantee got standard. Come to think of it, sometimes it may seem better than JD where artwork drops over time. Those who goes for artwork priority would be ok with Ma Sir's works :salute:

I have the poster of the Chinese brush art of Bu Jing Yun. Its definitely the best poster of all time for HK Comics till now as not a single works can beat it.
I framed it and is now hanging outside my collection room wall:D If i rem correctly, only a few chaps in spore own the poster as it damn limited release;)

I got some of the Feng Yun posters too. The best is the piece featuring Wu Ming playing Er Hu in the bamboo forest. Got some kind of tranquility feel to it.

Tian Xia's poster designs are still the best in HK comics industry IMHO. Always give me the artistic feel.

Just wonder anyone had seen the Feng Yun anime dvd? It is called as 風急雲怒... The anime last for a few min... Quite nice for HK industrial able to produce such standard but used too much $$$ developing for a few min works :(
