how 2 catch e toys in e UFO machine?

I have been seeing people spending as low as a dollar to catch a softtoy and as much as a 20-50 plus for 1 toy in the UFO machine? Anyone here is a UFO catcha King or Queen? Care to share any tips ?

I noe there are some UFO fanatics here in HH who are simply crazy over this thing..One fine example is Chrono whom u noe..Can ask him abt it when u c him..One UFO expert i noe is Wintermonkey..=))

That's what I'm very curious about too. The claws are loose ones so when they lift up the toys always drop out.

Hmmm this is wat i heard..The local UFO machines have a 'quota' to meet..Let's say for example the machine was preset the quota of $100,meaning after the machine is 'fed' $100 then will haf a firm grip..The lucky bugger who manage to be the 100th 'feeder' will haf the lucky chance to haf a firm grip to catch the contents in the UFO machine..This will explain y most of the time the machines will haf loose grips unless u r lucky enuff to be there at the right time..:D

Some UFO machines nid to use the 'pushing' method and nt by the 'catching' method to 'catch' the toys mah..That one will nid skills instead of luck liao..So the ones u saw at suntec r perharps those 'skilled pushers'..=))

Some of the UFO machines the soft toys r put at the edge of the 'hole' mah..So muz use the claw to 'push' them nearer n nearer to the 'hole' so the soft toy can drop into it instead of the claw catching them up and move to the hole to drop them..:D

Yo just saw this thread, have to mention what I just saw in japan again paisay paisay :beg:

The ufo machines over there are not as hot as before, but there are still a number of shops with many machines around. The items are usually big size, no more those small cuties. Some even have tea cup sets, cd player etc...

One of the stuff toy will be placed very near the drop hole and the rest sitting behind, catching your attention and make you gian. Of course you all know that the toys are not going to drop because of the loose claws. Than after you try for 3 - 4 times and spend some small money, you can get the staff on duty to help you. He will open the door, move the toy to a position that will drop with just an easy touch, close the door, smile and walk away. Than like Godmaster mentioned, you just need to go one more try with a simple push, and will walk away a happy person :laugh: . Almost everybody who plays will get their soft toy.

Anyway, me and my gf got a stuff doraemon with his flying rotar blade. Can even walk around when you put in batteries :laugh: :laugh:
