Growth of HH

Sat down having Kopi with my buddy today who happens to be an EX-Katoots member and now a happy HH member. We both are, haha...

So to be brutally honest here, we feel HH will definitely grow in size from here, What happens in Katoots some might know, we will definitely want to avoid in HH. I'm enjoying my stay here and i think many will feel the same too.

Someday, HH will boast an even much greater population, thats when shortage of bandwidth comes in and shifting of server to follow.. And funding of course will be greater. i know we will contribute to the good of HH then..:laugh: Though funding will be a small problem, what comes with it, will it affect the intergrity of the forum? would it be as cosy? Friendly as it is now? The Supportiveness?

Generally we feel it is sunny and well now, HH is growing though there's always areas we can improve in :) , i feel this is like when i first join katoots.
This is an unavoidable change. Will the main core of mods stay together? Will we able to cope with the traffic then? I hope we Can! :)

Adding on the what Jankdev said, I'd share a few points:-

1. The original objective of setting up HH must prevail and be made known.
2. Parallel servers (to migrate for future server capacity) is possible.
3. Short to Middle Term future planning is a continual process.
4. Moderators need discipline and effort, not something for everyone.
5. The overall maturity in HH is higher than elsewhere. Keep it that way.
6. The country is a small place. Information flows quickly with Internet.

I will always supporting financially when the needs come;) . Through having some funding excercise(selling T-shirts, sovenoirs, or something interesting) in the future, we will definitely make it through:laugh: Don't forget we have alot talents here to design these things:yeah: The key challenges are time and effort.

Most of us are working adults, some NS and though some still schooling, our motto is always to maintain its openess, cohesiveness and friendship, thats what it is all abouy:hello:

have to agree with one sentence from ur post.. e very very true post which realli touch my heart..

i feel this is like when i first join katoots.

but better not too good to mention or compare w what happen on the otherside..just learn from history.. in chinese i'll say dun " niu jiao jian" sumthings have to be like that means like that.. the more u try to get out from a quakesand the deeper u slip in n b4 u know it u are in it for good..

just enjoy here and i'll do my part wadeva i can..

Yep, I've seen HH grow alot. The time when I first joined, seems like every member other than me is a moderator.:laugh: But now I'm starting to see more non-mod members, so HH, jia you!!=D>

Compare to the pass, alot of members just visits here viewing rather than posting. Glad to see more and more members being so active here comparing to the very earlier time =D> And our forum had slowly started to build up from weak to strong now. Without all yr supportive here, I doubts HH was still a boring and inactive forum.

This time, I must really says "Thank You" to everyone of u for being so supportive here :thumbsup:

Things are working out nicely now in HH. But in order for the forum to continue to grow and go further, everyone, not just the mods but also regular members like us will have to play a part in keeping this place nice and orderly and making it a good place for everyone to hang out at.

Don't mind me mentioning names, but both Katoots are SGC are great forums, and I believe all can co-exist as long as there are supportive members around. Anyway we are all on internet just for enjoying sake and a sliight getaway from hectic work life. :)

To Jankdev questions since he posted here.

1. Server load and bandwidth may be a concern in future if we are still around, but as far as possible, we will maintain the cost of it. There are always ways to keep it a "budget forum" ;)

2. Supportiveness - I can only link this to the feedback and suggestions given by anyone in this forum, including the mods or admins. Frankly, it will not be possible to go ahead with every request mainly due to software constraint and time. But trust us, every single feedback will be answered and we will evaluate them. :yeah:

3. Friendliness - I guess majority of the people over here are friendly at nature. As everyone knows, we are typing, so interpretation of words may sometimes be hostile, but its just disagreement. Can't forsee this as it is very character-based, but the outlook is quite positive :D

really touchin to see allt he positive responds in HH....remind me of the old days...in comicspolitan....where few of us only...but still can happy happy post and share our opinion in comics....
now...HH is more developed and getting bigger and stronger....yet....seems that everyone is trying very hard to maintain the "happiness" here....(bad english...dunno wat word to use :laugh: )......well, as justin adn rookie mentioned...we are all mature adults....dont care u workin or schooling okie? but i see every members here are very mature and i can proudly say..the most mature i ever met....happy to see this and hope this will maintain forever....we learned from experience...and from otheres ppl experience too:)
well, be it adminstrator or moderator or members....we all hv the responsiblity to keep this forum a nice and friendly place to hagn out....so let work it out together...and i believe we can definately do it ...ya ya ya??:yeah: :yeah:
