Was wonder if there is anyone who has completed or is doing the CFA program, coz I am thinking of taking the exams after getting my degree. :)

I was going thru the sample questions just now and it's really difficult + stressful with all the individual timings per question...

Need some guidelines on the text + methods of preparation (self study, don't intend to pay for a S$900 course for Stage I MCQs yet).

Thanks. :D

I am from none. :D

I read the requirements is degree or 4 years working experience can liao, less than tough than Masters course in NUS.

My sis will be signing up soon coz she's finishing her NUS Mathematics course, she still thinking whether to go on for Honours. But since she qualify for it, and I will be soon, we would like to find out more about it. Saw some sample from website but haven't seen the textbooks yet.

Btw how did you do? Saw that the test alone will cost between US$800+++ to US$1000+++. :o

Cant remember how much I paid, but I think lvl 2 shld be ard SGD 300 bah, cos I sorta remember getting back a 50% refund of ard SGD 150

Masters shld be easier than CFA lvl 2 & 3, atleast thats how I feel when I read through the curriculum and req for Masters. (PhD is entirely different matter though)

The failure rate of CFA lvl 2 & 3 is damn high. Most people that pass are those who practically use whats thats within the CFA curriculum in their daily work, aka analyst, traders and so on.

Last time after I pass lvl 1, sign up for lvl 2 but then dun feel like studying so just write to them and give reason of lvl 2 irrelevant to what I was doing and then ask for a refund.

Anyway what are u studying rite now?
