See the character design by 邱福龙 is always a treat. I think 小龙 and 老妖 looks the best. 小虎 abit 幼齿.

I think it may be 邱福龙 doing the initial artwork. Hopefully it can be drawn by 林业庆. Kinda of miss his artwork.L-)

I think it should be drawn by the usual 龍虎門 team. 林业庆 should be more suitable for works that is abit classy. 龍虎門 seems too rugged for him...unfortunately 邱福龙 won't be participating much, if not his style should be the best for this kind of works. :D

Saw the advertisement for the movie comics. The artwork really top-notch! Tony Wong will not screw up this title. Besides it's only 18 issues. The cover arts alone will make this title worth collecting liao.

There are 3 cover arts for the vcd, will definitely get the Donnie Yen's version. Saw fr the advertisement that all most every issue have a surprise. Definitely looking forward to them! :supz:

Yah, if i rem correctly, the 1st issue is using "fen zi". Dun tink tony wong will screw up this comics, cos this is like the promotion for the movie, which is released just after the comics ends. if he screw up, ppl will have bad impression on the movie.

I was told it will only arrive on Wed. Just saw the advertisement in LHM, there will be a free VCD on the making of the movie, and nothing else. I was hoping a special issue with a giant size poster :D

Anyway, the artwork really looks good. At least issue 1 will be high quality :drum:

haha, if you haven't given up hope on HK comics, i reccommend you read 神兵前传4：玄天邪帝。 Not bad, the style quite diff from tony wong's usual comics . (eg, no narrative boxes and some jap style of 吐嘈) Drawing not that great but the story is much better than part 2 & 3. (4 issues released liao for part 4). Go rent & c u like it

You are right, 黎智昌 is one good artist. His art is very similar to 邱福龙...maybe that's why they both set up a company before :salute:

I also getting 2 copies of the 1st issue. Not so hardcore as boss, only those I like than I buy double :D Just got my 1st copy with 黑龍 vcd. This Sat must ask for 小龍 vcd :supz:

This issue really high standard, much more effort than they have put in for other debut issues. Fighting scenes are well drawn also. This is the 1st time HK movie comics are released for 18 issues, but confirm can suceed based on the standard.

Just finished browsing through the issue 1. Overall still not bad, I likes 王小龍 here rather than 王小虎. He looks very cool with this current hair style comparing to the normal hair style which he had :D

妖棍's appearance is abit letdown and 四眼明 looks better while comparing with the origin 龍虎門

I feel Shi Hei Long not bad leh, though i agree 王小龍 looks the best. I actually prefer this ver than the 新著龍虎門 one. Personally, i feel that Wang xiao hu is the one that doesn't look that great.

Tired of 王小虎 liao. Should be 王小龍 turn to be the main lead. Donnie Yan always show up in the advertisements. If the main lead is him, I dun sees anything wrong about that :thinking:

From what Tony Wong says in his remarks, 王小龍 is indeed the main lead in the movie version. Anyway he is the big brother of the trio, so its good to give him the chance. The only thing I don't like about this comic is that they are using cantonese. So far people only used in on those Triad comics.

Shi Hei Long haven't got into any big fight so its still too early to tell. I won't say hei long looks weak it just that he is acting stupid to create some comic relief. Which is good consider almost all the characters are acting seriously, hei long is there to create a lighter atmostphere.:hello:

I felt that the story is getting too draggy.They should make it more fast paced. But I have to admit that the artwork is one of the best for JD titles.:D

Artwork is even better than the current LHM. They have put in effort for this, and I don't think the story is lousy..but really...if can be more fast paced, or make it like 1 thick volume, the effect may be better :)

I just read last week's issue. Something amiss...小龙 was fighting in HK with 老妖, injured, saved by 羅剎女 to a bungalow. Than 羅剎女 decided to bring him to 邪神 for help...and she arrived in 羅剎教 in 1.5 hours time?? Unless in this movie version, 羅剎教 is in HK...
