The art looks really good but unfortunately it's from an independent publisher, thus chances of getting it here without preordering are slim. On the other hand, to preorder is kinda risky for a new OGN as we won't know how good the whole thing is by looking at a couple of preview pages. So the question is to take the risk or not? Who knows, this may turn out to be an independent sleeper hit like Bone or Akiko.

YEAH AGREED, I AM PARTICULAR WORRIED ABOUT PICKING UP THIS KIND OF TITLES, TAKE FOR EXAMPLE RED STAR. I PICKED IT UP AS THE STORY CAUGHT MY ATTENTION, NOT TO MENTION THE MIX OF CG AND CONVENTIONAL ART. THIS SERIES IS GOOD BUT IT TENDS TO BE VERY SPORADIC IN PUBLISHING.SOMETIMES 2/3 MONTHS. NOW I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHETHER THEY WANTED TO CONTINUE WITH THE TITLE. WORST STILL, I AM AFRAID THE WRITER MIGHT END THE SERIES SUDDENLY WITH A CRAPPY END ALL LAST ISSUE.AS WE GO ALONG WE TEND TO COLLECT EVEN MORE TITLES AND WILL TEND TO FORGET AND DROP OF THOSE INFREQUENT TITLES.

Yep, I used to collect Red Star too but dropped the title once it left Image to go Independent. Personally I've not much confidence in Indy publishers. It's not that I don't want to support them but after what happened to Valiant, Defiant, Malibu and recently Crossgen and Dreamwave, I really don't want to take the risk.
