Well I'll definitely vote

1) 井上雄彥
2) 森田真法
3) 車田正美
4) 藤島康介
5) 陳某

Surprisingly that I voted 陳某 though he is a TW artist. I really loves the styles, the ways and the plots which he did in his 火鳳燎原... :supz:
He is a unique artist which had his own styles of drawings

士贵智志 - does he had any new titles recently?

Well, the beginning of the story of kamikaze is pretty well, but becomes more complicated at the back and the ending wasn't that great just like most of the Jap comics they usually have :(

Thats the same question i had always wanted to ask, but dunno who to approach.
I like the drawings in Kamikaze. The heros arent very heros, and the villians are not really that bad also. [-X Thats the kind of story i like. =D>

hi,

fav artiste got to be

1. Katsuhiro Otomo( Akira )
epic story on post apocalypse japan. realistic art, lots of subplots and deep character development.and of course the machines, gun fights and etc. one of the most influential comics to date.make the US notice manga.

2. 20th century boys (Naoki Urasawa)
superb story coupled with good art. 20th Century Boys is a story with two major parts (so far at least). The first half, taking place in the late 1990's, is about a man named Kenji and his old friends, who begin to notice odd occurances happening around them that are connected to their childhood memories. These bizarre, frightening events are being orchestrated by a mysterious man known as "Friend", who seems to be bent on destroying the world with his fanatic cult. In the middle of the fifth volume, the story cuts ahead to the year 2014, where a new generation of people are struggling to find out the truth behind the cliffhanger events that occurred at the end of the year 2000. 20th Century Boys is an absolutely fantastic series that gets better at every turn. Whenever you think you've got the story all figured out, Urasawa finds another way to screw with your head and show you just how much you DON'T know. This is a masterpiece by a writer with a very firm grip on his story, and I can't wait to see how it turns out. It began serialization in the weekly magazine Big Comic Spirits in 1999, and there are 17 volumes to date. The language in 20th Century Boys can be coarse at times, but nothing too bad.(http://stephen.swoo.net/20cb/20cb.html)taken from winner of some major japanese yearly editorial award.

3. Masamune Shirow (Ghost in the shell 1 & 2)
sexy girl art with uncanny prophetic analysis on human cyborg and future technology.

I had seen the covers for this title. The drawings cants seem to draw my attention at all. [-X But i heard before this title won some awards in Japan before, not sure if its true though...

Me still prefer those comics with pretty gals, or those gross ones with vampires/draculas. :shooting:

City Hunter ~ GH currently issues are really getting boring although the arts are great.

Just remember the scenes where bai hu's team was assasinated by the xuan wu's team, lots of action packs are included. That was the most exciting parts, but now, the story plots only involving personal matters just like what the old series of CH is. Kida boring...
