So far, I have tried, Gelare, Swensen and Hagen Daz... Still feels that Hagen Daz is smoother, creamier and rich in taste as compare to the rest. Will get to eat Hagen Daz once every quarter, because its company's treat for good company performance....:D

1st time I got to eat this Japanese green tea ice cream (cost S$4 for the 1st one colour is really green come from a plastic tub whereby the ice-cream is sqeeze out into the cone). Very smooth and refreshing better than what you have at Swesen. Too bad it is that expensive.

Ya meow, the one with the shaw or cathay cinema one, it right outside the foodcourt inside the building entrance. Regular is $2.80, can mixed 2 flavors and large is $4.

They have good service and even regular size is pretty a lot. Can ask to test any of the flavors before buying! Maybe they are new, as they keep asking me for comments.:)

1st time I got to eat this Japanese green tea ice cream (cost S$4 for the 1st one colour is really green come from a plastic tub whereby the ice-cream is sqeeze out into the cone).

My Jap friend taught me to mix green tea powder with vanilla ice-cream for green tea ice-cream. Usually I will just sprinkle (lazy to fold the powder in ice-cream) on the ice-cream. What she did was to put a tub of ice-cream in the fridge (not freezer) for a few hours. When it got softer she will sprinkle green tea powder and fold them in so that the air in ice-cream doesn't collapse, hence minimize the dense cream.

OT a bit: anyone knows where to find relatively cheap green tea powder?

Besides all the ice-cream mentioned, I like the ice-cream which was made of the small little balls. Used to be sold in small set-ups in shopping centres, but recently sold in vending machines. $2 for a small cup, but to make my day with $2 is not expensive

Magnolia has this yoghurt ice-cream, lychee flavoured if I'm not wrong. Very nice, for people who prefer light and fruity ice-cream. I usually get it from Seng Shiong but think NTUC has as well.

And who can forget Mr Bean's soya ice-cream? =p~

Try this place call 'The Daily Scoop', located at Sunset Way, Clmenti. Really like their Lychee Martini, I normally order abt 3-4 tubs at one go, thats how good it is.

Other times, I stick to Haagen Daz. Thier Belgium Choc is best!
