Any good recommendations from you guys? My criteria as follows:

1)Must be less than $40K(including say $8k COE)
2)Some level of reliability
3)Maybe good fuel comsumptions
4) Need not be top quality and luxurious as i no need that.
5)Need not be spacious. As long as enough space to carry stuff to & fro CSC can liao.

Can find such car and roughly the current selling price?:whistling

How abt a Honda City? My family currently is driving one. Its not that bad. Its not ex too, below 50k cfm can get liaoz. Fuel consumption also belongs to the economical side.
Speed wise not too bad lah, can drag up to 120. Any faster i never tried before liaoz, coz sg no long stretch of roads to try lor...
But of course its a one for one price lah. U cant compare it with BMW or Lexus for their leather seats, computerise functions and quiet engine.

Also, i think its better to opt for manual gear bah. Drive auto gear where got fun. Want to drift also cmi. Then how to send toufu at night.:D

Can top up also for Toyota Vios (groan - oh not another one) figures I remember reading for 2005, for almost every 3 new cars sold one is a Toyota!!

Alternatively, the new FL Honda City if you can accept the looks, is a very good buy :) and should be a fuel saver too =D> =D> - gets my vote for the not-so-good looking but worthy car!
