改变还是复古?

Have you ever wondered why HK comics was such a hit in the 80's and 90's?

Why are you so engrossed with comics like 龙虎门, 风云, 黑豹....??? Is it the story? Art? Or just because everybody is reading it?

If exactly the same kind of comics was produced, will you support? Or have expectations gone up and preference is given to comics that goes for changes? Than what kind of changes?

I just know that if there is a similar comic like 黑豹 now, I would love it, even though the story is 老套. Can't explain why. :pig:

Well, in the 80s and early 90s, computer games were not so common. We do not have many forms of entertainment, comic reading is one of the most economical form of entertainment.

Secondly, we were not as well-learned or as exposed to the outside world we are now. The storyline or artwork that may appeal to us then. Of cos, there are some titles that are timeless.

ppl now a days are more expose to new things...expectation goes up....bored with the old story lines......thats y loh.....:(

No any sincerity storyline from them leh.. Some of the titles ahould ended long ago but they still carries on releasing. The more they drags, the more the craps they are...

Example like Sheng Bin, Tian Xia, Hei Bao and many more....

But even if they end all those, start new ones, the new ones are not as good as old. Why is it always the case :question:

I find myself able to remember the old story lines 10 years back, but recent ones that are just 1 month old I can forget them :(

i feel that now is very hard to find pure wuxia comics already.
now they keep on addin sci-fi to it. somemore the power mostly is use % to calculate.

maybe they shld return to their roots and just do wuxia with stylish moves and heroic heroes:supz:

Thats what I was thinking. Sometimes when you try to breakthrough, it just don't suceed....in life it also happens to us. and doing back what you do best can be the best way out.

If they had stick to the most original style where the world got to know HK through martial arts, it may not be such a bad situation. In fact 龙虎门 proves it right? I like 刀剑笑 style also, too bad the author unsustainable nowadays, if not a new version would be nice :thumbsup:
