Just when i thought that FM has no more story to develop for the next sequel ( as most of the stories were used up in the current film: such as the the babe who wore red, yellow bastard and to hell and back), now he is thinking about putting another one out. If he does that i can't wait to pick up the next sin city series basing on the upcoming movie.

'While the production team, stars and producers of Sin City are living it up in Cannes, official word came yesterday at a luncheon that Bob and Harvey Weinstein’s new (i.e., divorced from Disney) company is planning a sequel to Sin City.
The film is currently showing in Cannes, as Dimension Films’ (a subsidiary of Miramax) first ever showing at the international festival.
No “when” is officially mentioned for the film’s start date, but as Variety reported, the Weinstin’s new media company (currently dubbed WeinsteinCo.) has just entered into an agreement with Goldman, Sachs for funding after they leave Disney in September. However, the sequel will be co-owned by Disney and the new Weinstein company.
The confirmation from the Weinsteins confirms a report from Screen Daily which stated that Frank Miller is already scripting Sin City 2. Various rumors claim that Miller and co-director Robert Rodriguez will begin filming not one, but two sequels back to back, on green screen, next February.
In regards to content, from Yahoo News & Reuters: "We've been talking about it (the sequel) since day one," Rodriguez told Reuters on Thursday.
The next film will be based on Miller's Dame to Kill For, a part of the Sin City plot that was not included in the original movie, and Rodriguez wants to keep his cast if he can.
"We'd always thought 'Dame to Kill For' was the story (for the sequel)," Rodriguez said. "It has all the characters; Mickey's in it, Clive is in it, so it would be great to bring everybody back."
During a news conference on Wednesday, the American director said work could begin later this year.
Sin City is due to be released on DVD on August 16th.
