Pls quote me if I'm wrong.

One good thing abt PSP games over GBA SP games is that they don't have batteries. PSP uses CDs but GBA SP uses cartridges with embedded batteries. Once batteries go flat, there goes my game

LoneWolf

But PSP you still need to charge the built-in bat mah. There is one time play half way home, bat flat so auto shut down...... but once you connect back to adaptor for charge, the game can be restore

Er....what I meant is that GBA game cartridges have their own battery. GBA SP handheld set has their own built-in battery as well. The battery in the cartridge is meant for game saving purposes. So if the cartridge battery becomes flat, it's as good as saying goodbye to your cartridge

LoneWolf

Oic, wah you mean the bat at the cartridge cannot be replaced? :o

Yeah :( It's soldered to the chip :bang:

So take note whenever you buy a 2nd hand cartridge.

Anyway, back to PSP, that's the advantage of PSP games over GBA SP games ;)

Think another strong point is graphic. PSP is like playing computer game, prefect graphic and sound......only thing is the game not cheap.

GBA SP cartridge can last how long? :o

Do you know that for pirated game cartridges once the battery dies ,
you cannot save game ever again( unless you change battery ) , [-X

but for orginal game cartridges , the battery recharges itself by sucking
power from the game console, so no worries about the battery dying.

Don't know how true it is for orginal game cartridges,
but my pirated pokemon cartridge cannot save already

That's why I don't dare to say it is 100% true ( heard it from a friend
long ago )

I also got no way of testing out the orginal cartridge theory
since I lend my friend my snes and
orginal secret of mana and never got it back.
That was in 1999

Heard that there's one shop in Funan called Gamescore and their prices are quite reasonable. They even have their own forum:

seems that everyone's topic is on games....how about video file playing?

I'm currently using a software to convert RMVB/RM to MP4, transfer to PSP for viewing...anyone doing the same as me?

I know that pspvideo9 cannot perform conversion from RM/RMVB to MP4...

just a stupid question to ask: what cable to buy, if I were to transfer video file to PSP(without using memory stick reader)

CM will be a great buy for PSP lor. Imagine normally on desktop already can spend the whole night trying out the best formation, best player on which position and having a perfect unbeatable squad. Not easy lor.
And now have it on PSP, die liaoz. Confirm can play no day no night liaoz.

I still waiting for my sis to "transfer" me the PSP she and her hubby is sharing lor. They just bought it last week, but it seems that she didnt really like it in the end.:duh: They only have the Train simulation game and GITS.
But not free lor.[-X

Indeed CM is scheduled for release for PSP.

I think it should be the scale-down version instead. However CM5 onwards have been known to receive bad reviews and bugs aplenty. So unless it is freshly re-written from the ground up, we might see a so-so football simulator for PSP.

Look at these screens. It is much better played with a stylus (touch screen) - should have been released for DS too - than PSP D-Pad or Analogue Stick!!

* I can imagine the hassle already just to change formation.. (up up, left left, click, right right, left click, left left oops, right right, left up, click, down down.. right click) *

Eidos, one of the world's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, today confirms Championship Manager on Sony PSP, will be released on December 9th, 2005.
