Recently while watching local news, there are some translations I find funny, or maybe I think its incorrect. The Chinese characters are what is shown as captions.

If we translate back to that person's original title in English, it should be "Senior Manager". But what about companies who have titles like Senior and Junior? If it is Junior Executive, are they going to write Maybe it would be better to translate Senior as 资深?

Original should be Mediacorp Deputy CEO or Deputy Mediacorp CEO?? If it is the first one (naturally), is should be 新传媒公司副总裁 right??

Anyway I am just :powerhead

Hmm, it looks quite interesting. For the 1st point u mention, I thinks should be 初级 rather than 低级. So I assumed that junior means 初级 after translation :)
