There are many versions out on the market, and the nicest one I saw is at Kino.
Anybody got his collections? Bcos I may be trying out his novels in the near future. There seems to be too many different publications of them
oh solly....never read his novel b4...is he good?

How many stories are there in Si Da Ming Bu actually? I guess over 10 stories if I'm not wrong...
Anyone watch the TW TV drama of si da ming bu which a Korean guy named Che Ren Biao acts the role of Tie Quan?? There is another female constable in the storyline. Just wonder whether it is origin from Wen Rei An??

My friend says the tv sucks, you know how taiwan likes to potray puglistic world right..all the so called special effects, flying here and there, wierld hairstyle....
There are so many stories that I only know Hui Jin Shi is the 1st. Saw the picture at the end on last week's issue of Si Da Ming Bu? There are so many of the series, they even collect pirated copies.

So far I only knows hui jin shi, sui meng dao, tang men feng bao, sheng zhou zheng ba from the comic issues :)
The TV series not bad to me leh, only the first and last episodes have the most CG and exciting battle scenes. Than mostly, this drama is talking, love scenes, catching the badies, solving mystery cases etc...
Overall, not bad lah. Like Justin always said, must gives some chance lah :))
Never watch the Nicky Wu ver, I thinks the story is jing shui hang if I'm not wrong...
I actually read 4-5 series of his shi da ming pu, storey line ok only but in my opinion, not worth collecting as compare to Jin Yong & Gu Long. [-X
Think Huang Yi is much better though his books are super damp long. :supz:

Huang Yi I am still collecting, but bcos 温瑞安 seems quite hot recently so thinking of collecting.
But since you say, may have to borrow from library or rent 1st and try...if not they are not cheap also >:)
I agreed with you, better go rent from library first, try out to see if you like ;)
Did you buy the original Huang Yi's book?
Which are the title you buy?
Where did you get it?
How much you pay for each copy/set :D
I only saw it at Kino & they are quite ex... :bang:
