Well, I heard that this overture is a starting of god chapters. But no news for the later part leh... Somebody else even says that there will be a god chapter that based on manga but not yet started..

It nevers explain much in the end on how they ended up losing their memories. What happened to Apollo and the rest of the saints?

Perhaps we should find out more if there is a 2nd series released in future :?:

Well, this is confirm origin drawn by 車田正美... actually the origin is in Jap sub, I got the chinese ver from other site...

These few pics are found only in a Jap comics mag. But too bad, 車田正美 never carries on with the later part after this... :(

No news for this overture manga yet. Perhaps after 車田正美 finished his current titles 拳王創世紀2 :)

Cant really remember its name, but there is a new series release some time ago called....Saint Sieya G?? or somehting like that?

Its doesn't seem to be the style of 車田正美. you read it before?

It is known as Saint Seiya Episode G. The story begins 15 yrs ago before Seiya and the rest of the bronze saints appeared..

This work is done by another artist. Well, the arts are pretty well drawn.

Doesn't really likes the way of drawing their eyes... Quite big and looks cartoon to me :(

The golden saints clothes are quite messy and complicated comparing to the origin work. Origin is more nicer though...

The battle scenes are awesome =D> I'll gives 8/10

Storyline is average, the origin work is definitely better than this 1. Will rates this as 6.5/10 for the storyline..

I prefered manga rather than anime. Manga more detailed, more moves. Anime had lots of crap story and characters like metal saints etc...

Only the Hades saga for the anime is good, before that, all seem sucks to me :yellow: Likewise for the movies

There is a part that explained how the metal cloths are made and how the 3 metal saints are being trained. Perhaps u forgotten...

Anyway, they are crap to me... Totally vanished when Seiya and the rest arrives the sanctuary to fight against Pope

Anyway, I got my HK version quite some time ago. Just when Daran went bongus, their SS was selling very cheap. At that time, the HK thick booklet version was out as well. Both costing the same amt. So ended up getting the HK version instead ;)

Now re-read the Hades chapter :D

Note that in the manga, there's no Bei Ou chapter but available in the anime.

Yeah Saint Seiya complete had been releasing recently. But I doubt the TW ver will release at the moment :( I prefered 尖端 to release all the complete ver for 幽游白書﹐城市獵人 and other great titles as well.

Thanks to Mr. Hades, finally some body agree with me on the old anime not as good as the manga. What is up with Shun's armor? That Pink breast on man looking crap. Shun is girlish, but not that bad! In the anime, what is up with him laying next to Cygnus? so wrong. And the storyline are kind of wrong compare to the manga. One part I really dont' understand, when did that ice silver saint ever become Cygnus's teacher?

Another thing that bother me alot is the movie, the anime is nice drawn, but the storyline never change. For example, Seiya always go first, Cygnus cry about his mommy, Shiryu take his cloth off(is it really that neccessry in every episol) and Shun start to cry, then his brother Ikki show up with his mind trick. And I always try to seperate the Anime and manga story apart, try to think both as two story instead, but in the anime and movie, why both apollo are different person? really confuse there.

I'm a huge saint seiya fan, I have four set of there comic from 1987 til now, try to collect all the action figure there is, and the New anime KICK ASS!!! Go saint seiya for life!!

btw, past couple month, I have find the Zeus manga for saint seiya by the original artist, but I read the whole thing in Japanese, does anyone know where I can find it in chinese? does it even exist? or are they ever gonna make it at all?? would love to see it!!

I dun remember that Apollo had appeared in the scene in anime beside the movie either :thinking: Unless I missed out that part :|

Oh yeah, there is a new SS ver drawn by other artist. Saint Seiya the lost Canvas(forget the spelling :P )

Yes, the zeus manga was available long time ago by Masami Kurumada, but I have never seen it in chinese. was there ever a chinese version? if yes, where can I read or buy them from?

I can guarantee that the manga was not drawn by Masami Kurumada and not official title as well [-X

Actually there are lots of SS made up titles in Jap. This is just 1 of them only.
It happened that the art looks similar to the origin artist. And don't be surprised, there are lots of fan art talents out there in the Japan :|

Thank you again Hades, the artist for Zeus's chapter is by "Iro Sakamihara". great artist, character design is almost the same as Masami Kurumada, but armor cloth design is not as......., I guess everyone have different opinion. Still good!!
