I hope it's not just the english and japanese comics. HK should step up also, especially those in the peak period. It's people who determines the value.

The article above applies to US comics only which is valuable :|
HK titles can't even compete with them [-X
The only miracle that for titles like 《龙虎门》&《中华英雄》will be valuable in future is that either Ma Sir or Tony Wong pass away(touch wood)
And I'll believe that their works will remain in history(Asia only) where their die hard fans will bid for the very first print issue vol 1 of the title at over USD $10k and more :whistling
Btw, don't you guys find it ridiculous to pay over USD 1 million for the vol 1 of US comics shown in the article?? I do understand that it worth it if you are happy with that. But this is for self satisfaction only and I don't think the others will appreciate it at this value though.
I'll consider those buyers as insane or ignorance without having much thought.
If I've the money, I can even manipulate any items that I wish for to be valuable in the market as well. Just leaking out news to the media and everyone in the world will know that someone bidded an useless item at USD 1 million through auction etc... Everyone will say "Wow!! Never know that this item worth this value at all..." with their big jaws open up large

I prefer collecting Jap manga art book instead of those art pieces  The art work is pretty well drawn compare to those artists which I can't even understand what he is drawing at all. Simply more looks like a kid 涂鸦on the board :| That is exceptionable lah, of course there is some master piece like "monalisa" paint work etc..
